23.01.2022 It's weeks like these - 100% humidity (not complaining about the rain!) while harvesting the Rojo - that I really appreciate investing in a dehumidifier for the garlic He's a hard working little Trojan :-D

15.01.2022 *** Thank you so much for your support *** Everyone who has already ordered online or via FB will have their garlic shipped on Monday (tomorrow), or held for pickup :-D Due to a family member having unexpected surgery, I won't be able to prep any garlic over the next week. Next postage date will be Monday 3rd December 2018.... Hope to hear from you then ... xx

15.01.2022 It's hot outside - the aircon is on - so why not stink up the house with shiraz pickling juice :-D Not sure how to slice the monster sized Garleek cloves so they actually fit in the jar ... into four quarters or four lengthways?

06.01.2022 Hello Garlic Lovers It's that time again, and a wee reminder that the online shop will be opening tomorrow at 8.30, for sale of our new season Italian Pink. http://www.pokolbinpurple.com.au/... We have plenty of garlic this year, so don't hold back. The Italian Pink is a robust, all-round flavoured garlic that will store up to 10 months on your kitchen bench. Due to this small local business being a one-woman-band (Mr Pokolbin Purple has his day job) it may take a couple of weeks to get your order packaged and sent, and I am only posting on Mondays and Tuesdays due to Australia Post taking long delivery times, so please be patient. I will let you know when your box has been sent, and everyone should receive their order by Christmas. I look forward to hearing from you

06.01.2022 .... and we're straight back into harvesting. The early Rojo de Castro and Garleek is coming out, with full harvest expected to be completed within two weeks :-D Loving the Garleek flowers - although they suffered badly in the hot westerlies of last week and not up to florist standard. Maybe next year

All orders received up until now are either sitting on the dining table waiting for pick up - or will be posted tomorrow morning. 04.01.2022 Wow - what a year - hope everyone is surviving the stormy season with humour and wonder and not to much damange. We have finally finished harvesting the Rojo de Castro, and it's currently sitting "packed to the rafters" in my office, with the dehumdiifiers. Curing beautifully, despite the 70-100% humidity outside, and will be ready for post Christmas orders. Thank you for your patience this year - each season seems to be different from the previous year - I'm sorry the the R...ojo and Garleek was too late for Christmas presents. On the positive - they are both a garlic that will store for 12+ months, so sensational for those summer stir-fries and cold winter nights. Online shop will open 1st January 2019 ... an omen for an awesome year ... :-D
