I was looking through my last Pole Catz photo shoot & all I want to do is go to my classes & see my girls. This is the first year in 6 that I am not booked into 1 single class & I am not happy about it. Pole Catz literally changed my life & in ways saved me. I was very lost before I joined. I’d lost the closest person to me & along with it all my joy & hobbies. I was looking for something that was mine, something that would get me out of the house, fit & maybe some confidence. I’d always wanted to try but thought all the things women do. I went to my first Twerk class back in 2015 and literally laughed so hard at myself that I couldn’t wait for the next class. As time went on I could actually Twerk, I felt fitter, I had made friends & honestly the women at Pole Catz made me feel so good & empowered. After that term the obsession started, I tried Twerk, pole, lapalious, burlesque & sexy flow. At one point I did them all. Pole Catz became my second home, I had something that was mine. It was apart of my new life I was forced to build for myself. I made friends that literally always made me feel good & loved. I had confidence that wasn’t fake. For the first time it wasn’t people telling me your so strong, I actually felt strong! I’m now sitting here 39 weeks pregnant, feeling weak, huge, uncomfortable, missing moving my body & my ladies like crazy. I wouldn’t change having this miracle & I am so excited for this next chapter in my life. But if this has taught me anything it is how important it is to have that one thing, that one place that is yours. I can’t wait to start my come back & feel this strong & happily fit again. But for now I’ll sit here eating & relaxing, waiting for a little human to enter the world. See more
