24.01.2022 The latest addition to the cabinets in Policemans Way. A West Australian Police pith helmet with badge as worn by members conducting point duty in the city intersections in the 1950-1960's prior to the installation of traffic lights. Now on display together with a pair of white gauntlets

24.01.2022 This morning we had a visit to Policemans Way by the T Model Ford Car Club. Had the cars all lined up in the shade down the paddock while the owners visited the police display. Fabulous line up of cars.

24.01.2022 Some recent pictures of the collection, including a tour by our youngest granddaughter

21.01.2022 Turn sound on to listen to this very appropriate song, with pictures. It was sent to me by retired WAPOL Superintendent Ron Dixon.

20.01.2022 The latest addition to Policemans Way is from the Victorian Police Blue Ribbon Foundation . He is Mounted Police Bear. He has been placed into the Victorian Police Bear cabinet with his colleagues who have arrived each year at Policemans Way.

18.01.2022 Policemans Way had a visit today by 18 members of the Daimler-Lanchester Car Club. Had a variety of cars parked up in the paddock including a Tesla, Rolls Royce, Hyundai and several different model Daimlers. More photos from inside the display to follow soon: http://www.policemansway.com//daimler-and-lanchester-owne/

18.01.2022 Some recent additions to Policemans Way are the oversize Police Baton and Magistrate's Gavel who were turned from wood by retired WA Police Inspector Mick Walker. Also, the off duty shirt and Police Sports Federation shirt from the 1993 Australian and New Zealand Police Games which were held in Perth.

17.01.2022 A fantastic sign made in jarrah by former colleague and good friend WAPOL retired Inspector Mick Walker. The sign now holds pride of place on the entry desk in Policemans Way.

17.01.2022 I recently acquired a cast alloy sign from the old Cottesloe Police Station, rescued from the trash during renovations at the station. It is a great piece of history and has now been attached to the wall of the display: http://bit.ly/1LTAzJ7

13.01.2022 Very proud to have received an official 100 Years of Women in WA Police commemorative pin from Donnybrook Police this morning: http://www.policemansway.com/med/100-years-women-wa-police/

11.01.2022 Have done the best I can, using tweezers, to straighten the very fragile puggaree. The helmet is more than 60 years old, made in India for Grose Bros, Perth. It's now behind glass alongside a pair of white leather gauntlets in Policemans Way.

11.01.2022 These past few weeks we have had visits to Policemans Way from The Blue Knights and Red Knights Motorcycle Group, The Military Brotherhood Motorcycle Group, The Emergency Services Motorcycle Association, The West Australian Jayco Caravan Club, and the West Australian Holden Car Club. Its been a busy few weeks but very enjoyable.

10.01.2022 This past week we have been playing host to our youngest granddaughter, and she was able to visit Policeman’s Way for the very first time http://www.policemansway.com/visit/the-littlest-visitor/

10.01.2022 The collection grows almost daily. I am always looking for new items to add and have been promised some interesting items from Tasmania so keep looking out!

09.01.2022 This morning a group from Narrogin Home Care visited Policemans Way on their way to Busselton for lunch and then on to Augusta for a 4 day holiday. Quite a bit of humour and a photo shoot wearing some of the hat collection.

07.01.2022 Some new additions to Policemans Way is six of the seven WAPOL NAIDOC shirts. The seventh one has been promised. Thanks to serving WAPOL members who have given me these shirts to put into the collection.

06.01.2022 Chuffed with this little piece by WA Police Union

05.01.2022 Travelling initially in France and then in Ireland have been able o trade for the following additions to the collection in Policemans Way

05.01.2022 Some months ago I was interviewed on the phone by Bill ‘Swampy’ Marsh, a fairly well known author of Australian yarns. Fast forward a few months and a copy of the book Great Australian Outback Police Stories has arrived in the mail: http://bit.ly/1QkdkLr

03.01.2022 I attended the rally with retired, resigned and medically discharged members of WAPOL and supporters at Parliament House on Friday 3rd August and then the social gathering of 160 members of the Police Old Farts on Saturday 4th August where I was given some great additions for display in Policemans Way. The Police woman's pale blue dress, hat and black court shoes are rare items these days. The T shirts were worn at the rally where several of the signs were carried at the front of Parliament House and then down the road to 221 St Georges Terrace, the offices of Risk Cover. The flouro jacket was signed by most if not all of those attending the rally, including some members of parliament. Good coverage of the rally can be found in the West Australian Newspapers and on TV news broadcasts on Friday.
