23.01.2022 Hi everyone - Ive currently been receiving a lot of messages from everyone. Im aware this is a scary time for us, but unfortunately I will be completely closing my doors, even though I am working from home in very controlled and quiet environment, it is still close contact and its better for your health, my other clients health and my own health. I will not be doing any nails at this time, and Im so sorry but its about more than our beauty services at the moment. Please ...dont ask me to do your nails only, as this risks a big fine I definitely cant afford, and cant risk this. We need to listen and try to stop the spread of this virus. I will be contacting everyone directly to cancel their appointments and personally apologise, however as you can imagine I am under a lot of stress at the current moment. I will be in contact within the next 3 days. I love you all, past and present clients and hope everyone stays healthy and this is over quickly See more

20.01.2022 Why have one feature nail?

17.01.2022 Hi everyone . Many of you will have seen that the government is easing COVID19 restrictions and allowing nail salons to reopen from the 15th of May. I know some of you have seen this already as my phone is going crazy with clients after appointments. I will be gradually reopening throughout June. I understand that many of you are eager to book in ASAP however, I will need time to ensure I have a plan and products in place for the safety of all my clients. I will be contactin...g all my clients individually over the next few days with dates and times for available appointments. I kindly ask that you please be patient as I work through this - I was not expecting to be able to reopen until a later stage so this has come as a surprise! Please also remember that Im studying towards becoming a vet nurse, and gradually my working hours will decrease. I completely understand if clients take this opportunity to find an alternative for your nail services. Thanks for your patience and understanding during this time, will talk to everyone soon and cant wait to see you all!

16.01.2022 You may have already seen or heard about the damage done earlier this morning along Gawain Road strip. We had a window smashed (14 months after last adventure),... Janinas Costume-Hire had door smashed and theft, TIDY AZ Barber Shop had door smashed, Walking on air podiatry had a door kicked in, Emma-Janes Hair Studio had a door kicked in, Polishd Nails had a door kicked in and theft + a few other locks were damaged. The little fella responsible has been seen on much footage, he was around the shops for quite a while. The attached here is the fella after ending up in Strathpine shopping centre wearing a Donald J. Trump mask. Maybe Point Break inspired? If you had more information from anywhere between 2am 5/5/19 to 7am 5/5/19 useful for the police follow the link with the footage or call 131 444. Have a great Sunday afternoon and Monday Labour Day Public Holiday, well be back Tuesday from 6am https://mypolice.qld.gov.au//05/break-and-enter-strathpine/

05.01.2022 (Message from owner Kylie) Hi everyone - I have both some exciting and sad news to share with my amazing clients... It has been an amazing 10 years but, unfortunately due to so many reasons it has come time for a career change for me. Animals are my passion and working with and for animals is my ultimate dream, which I am now starting to work towards. For many of my clients who understand my deep love for animals, Im sure this will come as no surprise. I have just start...ed studying and with that, I will need to do placements and work experience over the next year. Unfortunately this means that my time for nails will gradually reduce as I progress with my studies. With this in mind and after much consideration, I have decided to close the salon in its current premises in mid JAN 2020. I will be taking clients who wish to continue seeing me at my home, and Cass will also be starting her own business (info still to come). Of course, this is a huge change for everyone and Im sure youll have lots of questions. For now its business as usual. Im looking forward to seeing everyone at their next appointment to have a long chat, with any information you will need. I will keep everyone updated, I promise! See more
