22.01.2022 For anyone that is friends with me on Insta or Facebook you would have seen a few of my post relating to the new arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Imogen . ... It has been an incredibly tough 3 weeks for our new family and I have been told it’s a good idea to write everything down to try and make sense of things, so here it is. Immi was born on 11th of October, the birth didn’t go how we were planning, and unfortunately I ended up having her via emergency C section. This was a big shock and such a daunting and scary experience with all the doctors, lights, and people in my face but I felt safe because I had Harvey there with me. When she came out she had the cord wrapped around her neck, body, through her legs- with all the pushing I had done leading up the the c section, there is no way she was coming out naturally. Unfortunately due to the hospital protocols Harvey could not stay overnight with me. For someone who suffers anxiety I found this incredibly difficult. Not only was I trying to recover from the c-section but I was also adapting to be a new mum trying to take care of a newborn alone. I believe that this time is incredibly important for new fathers too and should always be able to stay with their partner and new baby as a support. 2 days in Immi had a dusky episode where she began to choke and turn blue, she was instantly taken to the special care nursery where she would spend the next 7 nights being monitored and taken care of by the midwives. This whole week was a blur, and really took its toll on both me and Harvey. We had good days, we had bad days, we had days where I just cried but after 7 days she was cleared and we were able to go home as a family. Finally, 4 nights after being home I began to experience a lot of pain. I was misdiagnosed and given wrong medication until I was finally taken to the hospital. I had an abscess which they operated on and spent another 3 nights in hospital away from my newborn and Harvey. (Big shoutout to my beautiful mum for coming and staying the nights to give Harvey a break). I am now home. I am trying to rest and heal after two major surgeries and trying to start my new life as a mum. It is extremely tough, it’s taken a toll on me physically, emotionally and mentally, we are yet to venture out, to go to the shops, to even go in the car, but things can (hopefully) only get better from here. I’m lucky to have a wonderful supportive partner which has also shown me just how strong we are together and lots of beautiful people willing to help out where they can to try and make things a bit easier for us. Shout out to all the mums out there that need to hear this, your doing and amazing job. And this is only the short version lol

Applicant must be confident in relaxation massage, body treatments, skin treatments- including microdermabrasion, all waxing- especially brows and including female intimate waxing, manicures & pedicures. And willing to learn new treatments and attend training sessions!.. ... Position is on a casual basis with an average of 15 to 20 hrs per week, with the potential of increasing this. Must be flexible with work days and must be available for Tuesday night ,Thursday night & Saturday shifts. 06.01.2022 Good afternoon guys, We just wanted to pop on here and let everybody know we completely understand how important it is for you to get your appointments in and it can be frustrating when the time you want is unavailable but we promise we are doing everything we can to try and accomodate you. Unfortunately we can only do what we can do and appreciate your understanding. As said before we are temporarily down one therapist as she is off to have her beautiful baby girl, so ap...pointments are limited. We have both gorgeous therapists Emily and Jane who are helping out. Emily is available Tuesdays, thursdays and limited Saturdays and Jane is available Tuesday and Thursday evenings. all other days, Sharon is doing her best to accomodate. Please keep in mind We are now temporarily closed on Wednesday’s to allow Sharon a much needed day off during the week. All other days will be operating as normal. Appointments are now more limited so we encourage people to please book in advance, especially coming up to Christmas season. The girls are super busy and we do not have our phones with us while with clients, so our Facebook appointment requests may take a little longer to be responded to, we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible but please allow up to 24 hrs for a response. I highly encourage people to call our salon number on 70808653 for a faster response. We have an answering machine service where you are able to leave your name and number. Please don’t panic if you haven’t heard back from us right away, this just means we are busy with clients and all phone messages will be responded to by the end of the day.
