20.01.2022 Important COVID-19 Update Dental Restrictions Reduced to Level One The Australian Dental Association (ADA) has announced that restrictions on dental treatment be lessened to level one.... As of Monday May 11th, Polished Dental is now able to offer our entire range of dental treatments and services. What does level one restrictions mean? At this stage we are only restricted when someone presents with COVID-19 symptoms. We are unable to treat these patients unless they require urgent dental treatment. We will continue to follow our strict hygiene protocols which are designed to protect both you and our staff. We have adopted every additional precaution advised for our industry, including screening questions prior to appointments and increased environmental cleaning throughout the whole practice. Rest assured that your safety remains of upmost importance. If you had an appointment or treatment plan postponed due to the previous restrictions, our team will be getting in touch shortly to reschedule your appointment. As we are only able to offer urgent and emergency treatment at this time due to new guidelines by the Australian Dental Association, we hope these tele-consultations will help determine whether you will need to present at the practice for an appointment. Our waiting room and reception has been cleared of magazines, books and toys and hand sanitiser is readily available for all our patients as they enter the practice. 03.01.2022 It's time to get back on track! Polished dental is happy to inform patients that as of Sunday 26th April we will be easing restrictions as per Australian Dental Association guidelines. What does that mean for you and the community? For dental practices which remain open - we can now see a broader range of necessary treatment to keep your mouth in tip top condition. ... We will be working hard to contact all patients who needed to postpone their treatment because of these restrictions to schedule appointments as necessary. Being on level 2 restrictions still means we are unable to complete all treatment, so unfortunately, we are not able to offer all services as normal. Rest assured we are on the right track to overcome this pandemic together!
