25.01.2022 We have 1 spot left in our Live Online puppy class starting Thursday 6pm! If you have a puppy under 20 weeks that you want the BEST education for enrol ASAP. Lots of people come to us after attending a local in-person class that taught them nothing more than sit, drop, come, stay. They comment that our online classes are far better than the in-person they attended, so instead of wasting time and money elsewhere go for the best first!

21.01.2022 GEEK WEEK!!! I totally forgot to tell all of you that at midnight last night the Geek Week conference kicked off! Was I up till 3:30am geeking out? You bet I was. And was I up this morning geeking out again? Yep Geek week is 5 days straight (like 20 hours a day) of presentations from some of the best behaviour professionals in the world. I WISH that ALL people who called themselves trainers, behaviourists, k9 professionals, dog behaviour specialists and dog psychologists h...ad to know this stuff. Sadly they don’t even understand how to read basic stress behaviours, forget advanced science concepts behind what their actions are doing to the dogs. My job is to take these very advanced scientific concepts and make them easy to understand for pet owners and incorporate them into what we do in classes. I don’t have time to explain the nitty gritty, but even our conversations about cupcakes, bars with drinks flowing , serial killers and creepy men in white vans with bowls of candy are very advanced scientific concepts. 13.01.2022 So if you take a deposit to cover people pulling out at the last minute (after you have sent them intellectual property and booked them in), and then refuse to refund that when someone does pull out at the last minute for no reason... you are a thief and a scab. My prices are all on my website so people know how much each course is. You also clearly deserve to have your business attacked publicly by review and also by word of mouth. Nice people. Happy to pass on the name of this savoury local of Lower Portland who is short a few sandwiches, if anyone wants to check if they know them and wish to tell them personally they are being disgusting.

12.01.2022 We are feeling as Sad as Cash looks PS he isn’t sad he just looks like this Why? Because we are having an issue we have not had since introducing a deposit 7 years ago. It seems that with covid people’s expectations of businesses have changed and people are less reliable. People are enrolling and then not replying to course booking emails, then emailing later asking to be put into other courses or get a refund on their deposit as they are too busy. I know MANY small busi...nesses who are having to introduce deposits this year for this exact reason. Deposits are NOT refundable once you are sent a pre-course lesson, and once you are booked into a course if you do not pay to confirm your place in that course you forfeit that deposit. I have to spend a lot of time chasing up people and then have to manage upset families who’s course gets delayed. Or I have to work for free for an entire class plus expenses at my cost which is not fair. So please if your availabilities change let me know BEFORE you are booked into a course. When I reply to your enrolment with your precourse lesson I state this, and that you will loose your deposit. If you are booked into a course and then change your mind, you will NOT be put into another course. So please make sure when you receive course info that you reply ASAP to secure your place. And if you miss a class it is your responsibility to send me an email to request a possible catch up if I have a suitable class available. I haven’t ever had to do a post like this, but it’s just gotten out of control. My prices are on my website, my terms are on the enrolment forms so I am as transparent as possible. I am just not sure what else to do at this point as I am wasting so much time on this problem with classes, while other clients wait many weeks for consults as I’m up till 3am every night doing class admin.

07.01.2022 Jake would like to say a big thank you to the 5 classes full of amazing dedicated families, who just completed 7 weeks of Life Skills with him He is now off to bed He has helped us revolutionise how dogs are taught Life Skills via our new Live Online classes. The achievements made by the dogs in the classes over the last 3 terms are outstanding, and due to that we will only be offering Life Skills classes this way going forward. I couldn’t stand to offer an inferior ...in-person experience, when I have seen over 100 dogs do far better via live video from their home. And we have a little secret for all our students we will announce soon.... He is owned by a friend who is a wonderful trainer, so as much as we do teach these cooperative care skills in both classes I’m taking no credit for this! Such a wonderful demonstration of cooperative care, relationship and how fun training can be. Huge congratulations to team Ori!

04.01.2022 Want your puppy to be this controlled??? We have new puppy classes starting at East kurrajong Tuesday 5:30pm and Sunday 5:30pm, and LIVE online starting all the time. Get the BEST education available for your puppy, as the long term benefits are astounding. The industry is unregulated so there are many trainers out there with no idea what they are doing charging a fortune, and even being suppored by vet clinics who's staff are equally uneducated in behaviour These terr...ific 2 Labrador puppies are terrific not because the owners are lucky but because they have put in a tonne of hard work!!! Things to consider - There are 2 puppies to train - They are littermate sisters (the hardest combo) - They are in a room full of dogs and people - They are free to get up and move as leads just lying there - There is 2 huge bags of yummy treats in reach behind them and they are snackradors - They desperately want to eat the tic tacs (practicing for not eating human medication) This is taught by starting with a single treat and moving through small, large and moving objects over a month. The behaviour is stop moving, disengage from the activity and make eye contact. It is NOT taught with force on a collar or intimidation, the puppies choose to do these things through good reward placement and training. 02.01.2022 A big shout out to this best puppy ever, Bolt! He has just done his first watching a back to back live online class without a single noise, that’s 4 hours! Poor kiddo is only a couple of meters away from me and the chihuahuas while I teach, which is super hard as he has much FOMO. Watching me teach another dog, watching me get excited while I teach, listening to my students asking questions. This didn’t come easy... 2 months ago he was barking almost constantly while I’m teaching demanding my attention. I had to train him, train the dog in front of me and train 5 families all at the same time 8 classes a week exhausting?? yes! Rewarding??? Yep Because this behaviour is now easy to maintain

01.01.2022 I cant take my puppy out till it’s vaccinated!!!! I heard dogs die of parvo going outside! I cant socialise puppy in a live online class Right.... So the opinions of people who are NOT educated in MODERN veterinary OR behavioural science are who you plan to believe when it comes to a dogs future temperament??? You can keep them at home till vaccinated, attend a puppy mosh pit class because it’s run at a vet and looks fun (so your puppy ends up feral around other dogs...), or a basic class of sit drop stay (doesn’t teach how to prevent aggression and anxiety). And then in 6-8 months when you have an anxious, aggressive and hyperactive barking Cavoodle that bites your 7 month old baby, you wonder how it happened Our Puppy classes prevent all this!! https://www.politepaws.com.au/puppy-preschool.html Please Please Please! ensure that you are getting your information regarding behaviour from well educated professionals who understand the current science!
