24.01.2022 Good evening everyone. As of Monday, Pollard Accounting will be complying fully with the Victorian State Government's requirements that we wear face masks. If you have a medical reason for not wearing one (with an accompanying letter from your Doctor), let us know beforehand please so we can take all necessary precautions.... Whilst I accept people have issues with wearing masks on a personal level, we will not be making exceptions. We offer email and phone appointments to facilitate all options. David

22.01.2022 If you’ve received a government stimulus payment this financial year, do you know whether you need to include it in your tax return? Different payment types are... reported differently: JobKeeper payments if you’re an employee these will be included on your income statement as salary and wages or an allowance. JobSeeker payments need to be included in your tax return and will also be included on your Centrelink payment summary. Accessed super you don’t need to pay tax on COVID-19 early release of super amounts, so you don’t need to include this in your tax return. No need to manually fill this out, most info will be automatically included in your tax return by late July. 12.01.2022 Greetings and salutations everyone out there. Firstly, please moderate your behaviour this evening, with it being New Year's eve and all. Don't make any New Year's resolutions (financial based) that you can't keep! ... That being said, we are ready for Tax season. Kylie Willison and I are ready and raring to go. With Covid19 and all, we have taken appropriate measures to see clients at our new offices in Riviera Plaza. We are loaded up with hand sanitiser and the seats are appropriately placed. We are also taking phone interviews and receiving information via email with follow up telephone calls. It will take a very similar time and allow for the clients who prefer to stay at home or work.
