20.01.2022 2019 Reflection: Every year has its ups and downs. While 2019 has been a challenging year for many people, including myself, I hope we can look back and not focus on the pain of the harder moments, but as a year of opportunities for self growth. You are still here at the end of the year. You have more experience than you had at the start of the year. You are better for it. ... Be proud. Id like to take this opportunity to thank all of our students and families for their support this year. Id like to especially thank my amazing team Sempai Tamara, Sensei Amanda , Sensei Gerard , Coach Dave and Coach Tom for going above and beyond not only for our students, but for myself personally during some of the most challenging times of my life. Your support means more than you will ever know. Im proud to teach along side you. We wish all of our students and supporters a HAPPY NEW YEAR full of health and prosperity! Lets make next year an even bigger year of growth and success! ~Sensei Matt.

19.01.2022 Love this.... As parents we lead our children and guide them along their path, doing our best to pass on our life lessons. All the while we hope that they will grow to be successful and make the world a better place, but also to remember where they came from and those who came before them. ~ Sensei Matt #rememberwhereyoucamefrom #martialarts #loyalty #family

18.01.2022 @kerwinrae summing it up perfectly. Attempts that end in failure = invaluable experience that you take into your next attempt. Adversity = opportunity for self growth. #experienceisyourbestteacher #dontgiveup #howbaddoyouwantit #success

17.01.2022 Mitchell with his instructors/coaches/mentors one very proud young man. Thank you to Sensei Amanda, Sempai Tamara, Sensei Matt for all you have done and continue to do to allow him to achieve his goals. #futureolympian #pollets #polletsdubbo.

16.01.2022 It was certainly a different dawn service this morning. It was very moving for me to see so many people out at the end of their driveways with a candle paying their respects as the light began to break through and the kookaburras laughed. Quite surreal really. I am truly grateful for those that have served, those who continue to serve and those that are still paying the price. LEST WE FORGET. ~ Sensei Matt

16.01.2022 The ISKA NSW Western Open is on next Sunday the 23rd of February in Bathurst. Sensei Matt is in the dojo this morning helping all competitors prepare for this tournament, upcoming gradings and fight nights. We look forward to seeing you there!

14.01.2022 After countless hours of training, travelling and winning competitions local and interstate, MITCHELL GLYNN (Country Karate Kid) has qualified to represent Australia at the World Martial Arts Championship in Portugal this year! To say we are proud is an understatement! To support him in his journey we are selling raffle tickets with an awesome BBQ as one of the major prizes. As you could imagine this has been an extremely challenging time for us and we cant thank you enough for the ongoing messages of support and check ins. 11.01.2022 **UPDATE** With the Dojo remaining closed until further notice as per previous announcements, my staff and I want to acknowledge and sincerely thank you for your ongoing support and concern. We want to clarify that all memberships are on hold indefinitely while we work our way through these challenging times. We will send out an email of confirmation shortly.... We already miss teaching our classes, the supportive environment and laughing with our Dojo family each day. These are challenging times that will test us all and are unsure of what the future holds. Please stay up to date with the governments information and observe their advice. Stay calm, practice good hygiene, look after each other and above all be kind. If you have any queries about anything message us here on Facebook or email [email protected]. Sensei Matt

11.01.2022 THANK YOU to everyone who joined us from Dubbo, Nyngan, Yeoval and Wellington for our Xmas party on Saturday! A big congratulations to all award recipients. It was a wonderful day

11.01.2022 At present, CLASSES WILL BE RUN AS USUAL. Your health & safety is a top priority. We are closely monitoring the latest advice from health authorities. We are adhering to recommended health precautions from NSW Health and the World Health Organisation and will continue to monitor and comply with further developments. There will be some changes in our classes to reflect this. We have always been proud of our clean and safe environment and are cleaning even more regularly..., in particular, high contact areas. Please take notice of our hygiene posters throughout the Dojo. Please adhere to these health practices at all times. While schools remain open and we have no confirmed cases of COVID-19, we shall remain open. We urge people to not panic about anything outside their control. The mass coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic can feel overwhelming and cause immense stress. Stress has a direct link to lowering immunity, the last thing that anyone needs at present. If you are symptom free and attend school or work, we encourage you to still attend your martial arts training. There are many physical benefits of maintaining your exercise regime including slowing the release of stress hormones that lead to lower immunity. Keep your fitness up and your body fit and healthy with your martial arts training. resource: https://medlineplus.gov/ If you have any questions or concerns please call us on 02 6885 1175. In the event that you have either a temperature above 37.3 degrees Celsius, persistent cough or difficulty breathing, we advise you to refrain from attending training. If experiencing these symptoms, we advise you to call your Health Care provider promptly before visiting them to seek health assistance. For verified resources to contact for COVID-19 information, we refer you to: - Corona Virus Hotline 1800 020 080 - Health Direct 1800 020 020 - NSW Health Corona Virus Website, Which includes information on school closures, flights with confirmed cases, confirmed cases, home isolation, FAQs, travel information and testing centres: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au//dise/Pages/coronavirus.aspx - NSW Education Corona Virus Website: https://education.nsw.gov.au//school-saf/novel-coronavirus
