25.01.2022 When your car is that full of flowers theres almost no room to sit... . This image I took a couple years ago, when I did 5, yes 5 weddings in 1 weekend. Can you imagine.... 5!! Ive sworn NEVER will I do this again!! I am a one woman show, but I think I was insane doing that!! #neveragainitwasinsane . Skip forward a few years & work out that for me, in my business, it is more about doing what I love then money in the bank. Although I loved all the weddings in this week...end, the stress wasnt worth it. . I love Playing With Flowers but I enjoy the process more now than ever, spending time with my brides to meet up & chat flowers, chatting with my suppliers for the best quality & picking up all the special blooms & really being part of that special day. . 21.01.2022 Hey friends!!! . So.... . The last few months have been a bit of insanity!! We had to find a place to move house & business!! Let me tell you... moving sux (big time) & when you have to find a place during Covid & on a short timeframe, all while making sure you can service your weddings... whoa ... STRESSING OUT!! ... . Everything stopped! I didn’t end up celebrating my birthday or finish up my competition properly or keep up to date with emails or messages. I AM SO SORRY! . My mental health went to absolute crap with the stress of a family dispute (that ended very badly) all within a few months. . But... . Silver linings always prevail & I’M BACK!! Stronger than EVER & Still so in LOVE WITH WHAT I DO!! . Please know, I’m getting the help I need, I am leaving the past right where it belongs. I’ve been able to celebrate my son turning 18! & I’m focusing on ALL the positive things to come! We’ve had so many postponements & for a while I didn’t know if my business would survive, but those that know me, know I’m a fighter. . Again, I’M BACK! Let’s do this!! Come at me 2021!
