21.01.2022 Have you treated your horse for sand recently? Did you know with its unique cyclonic action equissage can assist in the removal of sand ? This time of year can be pretty tricky for us horse owners. We long for the green grass but dread the little green shoots poking out of the sandy pastures.... Keeping up your horses hydration and fibre intake is really important, hay, hay and more hay. Check your horse is hydrated especially on those wet windy days when they don’t want to move around to much.

08.01.2022 Colic, as a horse owner it’s one of my personal dreads, my friend lost her old dear gentleman pony last week. Despite fabulous veterinary care his 29 years and a twisted small intestine were against him and he so he passed away peacefully In an emergency situation you can feel so helpless while your waiting for your vet. Equissage or massaging your horse gently from wither to lumbar may help, there are also ET (equine touch ) and TT ( telling touch ) moves that will help t...o keep you horse calm. In Zoopharmacognosy high quality therapeutic grade peppermint oil is offered to the animal where stomach issues are suspected. Its often added to a bucket of water for the animal to self selection. Peppermint has natural analgesic properties, try a drop on your tummy next time you have a belly ache or even a muscle strain but be sure to dilute with a little coconut oil or similar and never apply oils directly to your animals.
04.01.2022 This is the horse that change my life and set me off on my healing learning journey. He had quite a few emotional outbursts he had a canny knack of dropping his whopping shoulder whilst bucking and hoping sideways. He was branded dangerous a few times but I knew he was just being reactive. Horses are always in the moment and are reactive to their environment or how they feel. For his benefit i delved into equine chiropractic care and studied Equine Touch through the university of Wales in the UK. Since this beautiful boy i vowed my horses would always be heard. Ive continued to develop my skills in sports massage, energy healing, animal connection and equissage therapy. Horses are always teaching and reminding us to listen to them and our intuition. Happy horsing
