16.01.2022 Freshly Baked Rye Sourdough Bread available Wednesday 26th from 4pm! Order online now- or risk it and pop in to pick up a loaf. We love hearing about how much you love our sourdough, and the way it doesn’t give you that bad bloaty feeling. That’s because it’s proper sourdough, left to rest for 3 days and as well as tasting delicious it is also easier to digest than your average loaf.

02.01.2022 Polo Restaurant turns 5 Can barely believe we’ve been doing this Thing for 5 years! And what a ride Our Story: Our family run Polo Restaurant began 13 July 2015 from within Polish White Eagle Club, Turner. Before then, over the years the White Eagle Club had had a few different independent restaurants operate from this space, but after a fire the kitchen had been out of regular use for over a year. Shout out to Robert Guth aka @doktors.kitchen who introduced the space t...o us thinking we might be keen. Our own Polo restaurant was born despite us having very limited experience and a few kids including a 3 month old baby. We learnt how to run a restaurant, including hiring staff, doing the books, sourcing ingredients, marketing, interior decoration, recipe creation and more. In the early days it was very quiet and the food and decor has improved a lot since then...We made plenty of mistakes and learnt from them! We have grown as people (and family - 5 kids now) but the best bit has definitely been our cool staff and our loyal customers who keep coming back and encouraging us to keep it up! Seriously Thankyou for sticking with us and seeing us through this wild adventure! We wouldn’t even be here now if it weren’t for you guys and we appreciate each one of you. Here’s to supporting local!
