24.01.2022 When the Swan Reach Deep Mooring Project was proposed, the riverbank had suffered significant erosion due primarily to the commercial vessels visiting the area. Gabion baskets, installed years prior, were also showing signs of wear but their removal heightened concerns around further weakening of the riverbank. Today, the riverbank line is now twice as strong and more resilient to the erosive forces of its environment which includes commercial vessels, paddle boats, houseboats and tourists. 18.01.2022 Strataweb was used to achieve the Entertainment Centre's green roof at Sydney's Darling Harbour. Installed in a week, Strataweb provided slope protection and acted as the foundation for native grasses (thereby providing understorey habitat and insulation benefits). By retaining up to 75% of rainwater flow, Strataweb also offers sustainable water management. If you're in Australia, we offer FREE technical training & design assistance for Strataweb. 17.01.2022 PERMANENT SOLUTIONS TO PROMOTE VEGETATION: Under the conditions present at Swanbank Qld, vegetation would need plenty of time to take hold and grow, rendering biodegradable options unsuitable. As our images prove, using the right product can achieve great results. To view our wide range of erosion control & turf reinforcement solutions go to https://bit.ly/3jVB6iN
