16.01.2022 Concept versus reality. It was great seeing @pointcorpqld’s @hotelindigobrisbane transforming Fortitude Valley’s upmarket Brunswick Street recently (prior to borders shutting of course!). Designed by @cotteeparker, with interiors designed in collaboration with @blaineynorth, the striking mixed-use building will feature Australia’s first Hotel Indigo, 30 premium apartments, 1000sqm of commercial office space and the recently announced @cielorooftop.fv rooftop pool and bar. It will also see three unique food and beverage destinations spread over the lower ground, lobby and mezzanine levels. Having launched the project in 2017, it was great to see it so close to completion, with the hotel accepting bookings from April 2021.

14.01.2022 Polymer was excited to attend the opening of @park_sydney_’s first stage buildings, ‘Botany’ and ‘Cascade’, to residents and retailers today. Congratulations to our long-standing client @GreenlandAustralia and their joint venture partner, GH Australia, on delivering the first phase of one of Sydney’s largest urban renewal projects. The milestone was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Greenland Australia’s Managing Director Sherwood Luo and @CityofSydney Lo...rd Mayor @CloverMoore joined by Greg Barrett from @wmkarchitecture, Jamie Crookes from @richardcrookesconstructions and Nathan Shaw from @woolworths_au Metro. The event also celebrated the launch of a new @woolworths_au Metro supermarket which includes a very first concession store for our pro bono client, @thebreadandbutterproject. This is the first time a Woolworths Metro has outsourced its bakery operations to a third party, and under the arrangement, The Bread & Butter Project will operate its own bakery within the Park Sydney store, providing Woolworths Metro with a full production bread bar in-house. 10.01.2022 Congratulations to our client, @topspringaustralia, on receiving development application approval from the @cityofsydney for its premium residential project, Greenknowe Avenue, in Elizabeth Bay, on the site of the former headquarters of the NSW Country Women's Association. The new @pbdarchitects -designed scheme will reflect the surrounding area’s heritage through its brick façade and art deco features. The six-storey residential development will feature 30 luxury one-, two- ...and three-bedroom residences, including a penthouse. Top Spring Australia has also recently appointed award-winning Melbourne-based designer, @mimdesignstudio and @taylor.brammer to the project.

03.01.2022 It was a great pleasure collaborating with @adrianmezzina to deliver the official opening of Zurich Tower in North Sydney this week, on behalf of CBRE Global Investors, @Roberts_Pizzarotti and Zurich Financial Services Australia. The event saw @TrentZimmermanMP, Federal Member for North Sydney and @JillyGibson, Mayor of North Sydney, officiate a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the project’s key stakeholders and consultant teams. Located at 118 Mount Street, North Sydney, ...Zurich Tower has now become the new HQ for Zurich in Australia and New Zealand, and brings the company’s Sydney employees together in a fully collaborative space. Designed by @FJMTstudio and purpose-built for Zurich, the 29-storey 5 Star Green Star-rated tower delivers 20,600sqm of PCA A-Grade office space and includes a two-level podium, café space, sky terrace, basement car parking and end-of-trip facilities. Developed in conjunction with White & Partners and Generate Property Group, CBRE Global Investors purchased the tower in late 2019, with construction completed in mid-November 2020 and Zurich employees moving in from late November.
