20.01.2022 As some of you may be aware, we are the Australian agent for the US made Polywood brand of outdoor furniture, made from post consumer waste, and have been for many years. We ordered a container load back in May and under ordinary circumstances, it would have well and truly arrived by now. However, these are extraordinary times. The US manufacturer have not only had to deal with increased demand from their local market during their own peak season, but also having to meet that... demand with a reduced workforce due to Covid compliance requirements. This pushed out the lead time for orders from 10 days to 10 weeks! We can only imagine the stress they've been under. Our order has now left the factory, though it takes several weeks to arrive with the estimated arrival date being early October. For those who have ordered items and paid a deposit, we sincerely apologise for the delay. We will be contacting you in the coming days to offer a refund of your deposit so you have peace of mind that you won't lose your money, as some of you have already expressed some concern. To those waiting for my core items, i.e. Adirondack chairs, sunloungers, etc, please sit tight and you will all be notified when the stock is here. We will do our best to process all orders as quickly as possible and trust you'll be patient with us as we do so.
