21.01.2022 Good morning everyone! It’s starting to get colder here in Canberra and have some questions and answers for you all. Q: do cats feel the colder weather? A: yes they do! All animals do feel the weather.... Q: my cats sleep in front of the heater won’t they get burned for sleeping in front of it for so long? A: cats generally love heaters/blankets like us humans do during the winter months. You might even find them wanting to sleep under your blankets. They won’t get burned from sleeping too close as long as they aren’t touching the heater. They move away when they get too warm. Q: I don’t have heating in my home what can I do to keep my cats warm? A: If the sun is out make sure you have curtains and blinds open during the day the windowsill will be your cats favourite place to cat nap. Another thing you can do is get a heated cat bed they are fairly cheap and allow you to change the temperature on it so it’s not too hot for them. There’s also a heat me up pad that you can snap and it self heats for up to 7 hours that you can stick under their beds for them. Q: like humans, are cats more susceptible to colds and flus during winter? A: no their immune systems are pretty strong

06.01.2022 In light of the COVID19 situation, we urge you not to book appointments for pickup if you show any signs or symptoms at no charge to you we will fly them to the nearest airport or deliver locally. Due to this, we are not allowing visitations and only pickups. While we understand that may not be okay for some, we have family members that are elderly that are at very high risk if they were to contract the virus. We are more than happy to send videos and photos of kittens you are interested in and tell you all about them. We apologise for this inconvenience.

01.01.2022 Good morning everyone! This is an update regarding the cattery and COVID19. As we are responsible breeders we have decided to slow down our breeding program. We have impanted our active kings and queens so that way we can give them a long rest. This means, for the next 12-18 months we may not have kittens. ... We believe that during this time it may be difficult for people. We appreciate all veterinarians and health care professionals and wish them a safe as well as a happy Easter. Our decision was an easy one. We want to protect not just our family and friends but the rest of the community as well. As such, kitten and cat owners of our cats are more than welcome to contact us during this time if they need assistance in purchasing bags of cat food/litter and supplies. We understand that it may be hard to find during this time as people are panic buying but rest assured we are still able to get ahold of these products. However, a limit is in place: LIMITS: x1 10kg royal canin dry food x1 12 pk royal canin wet food x1 10kg clumping clay or dry wood pellets We thank you all for your patience and understanding. We hope you all have a lovely Easter break. -Polyphony Bengals
