08.01.2022 Pomegranate farm update for November 2019

08.01.2022 The other day I got a phone call from John Phillips at The Pomegranate Farm who told me that this year's crop wasn't as big as normal and due to the current hea...lth crisis John and Ann didn't really want to come to market considering they're in their 70s. He asked if I would mind putting them on my stand as we have a shared stand arrangement. I was happy to oblige and I have 11 trays of fresh Pomegranates in my cool room. They will be available from Saturday at St Kilda veg out FM. The juice will then be available at my stand after that. See more

08.01.2022 People often ask what we do with all the pomegranate peels after we have juiced them at the markets. We take them home and feed them to the cows, and they love them. Nothing wasted

07.01.2022 Does anyone have any information on why the Pomegranate trees drop flowers? We noticed this in a big way last season and it appears to be happening again this season. Apart from that the trees look great in full bloom and the bees are busy pollinating #biodynamicpomegranates #certifieddemeterbiodynamic #biodynamicpomegranatejuice #biodynamicpomegranatefruit #biodynamicpomegranatemolasses #covercrops #beespollinating
