24.01.2022 Pomeranians entered at Sydney Royal 2019. Good luck to all exhibitors. Anyone wishing to see the Pomeranians being shown I would think it would be a good idea to get there around 9 a.m. I believe that there is only 2 dogs before Pomeranians. Animal activists were at Canberra royal, so I would expect increased security at this year's Sydney Royal
24.01.2022 Hi friends, guess what's on tomorrow? The NSW POMERANIAN PICNIC! Possibly the most fun you and your Pom will have all year! * 11am-2pm Bonna Point, Kurnell. * BYO Poms, picnic blanket, sandwich or whatever you want to have for lunch. * A chair is advised as it's a huge park but we will be under shade trees.... * Poms can frollick snd swim on shallow beach water, 200m walk to an inlet private beach. Bring a towel if you are participating! * Bring sunscreen and a hat, it's in a park next to a beach Ps There's no ATM or cafed at the beach, but nearby in Cronulla. The event is free! But we do ask that you bring a bag of dry food to go to farmers who are struggling to feed their dogs. Alternately toys bed, lead, blanket, bed, or other comfort item to be donated directly to Golden Oldies who care for old furbabies who have been surrendered and are in their twilight years. No cash. 18.01.2022 UPDATE: This poor little guy is still st Sydney Dogs and Cats home. His name is Sayo. Someone must be missing him surely. This little fella was found in Haberfield this morning and has apparently been taken to Sydney Dogs and Cats home if anyone recognises him.

14.01.2022 40+ Poms and their hoomans came out for the 2019 Xmas Picnic at Bonna Point Kurnell. Their was plenty of space to frollick with friends, and a paddle beach for a swim. Please tag yourself! Merry Christmas everyone, love Santa Paws xo

Thank you so much to everyone who came down to Kurnell today for the NSW Xmas Picnic. So.many.pomeranians - 42 at last count, our biggest turnout ever. Thank you also for being so kind and generous donating food for the farmers and goods for Golden Oldies. Your items will be donated on behalf of Poms NSW and I'll post pictures of the deliveries soon. This is the last "event", I'll be organising, so I wanted to take a moment to say THANK you for being part of this growing community. From our first event 3 years ago to now, we now see 30-40 furbabies at every meetup. We've held events all over Sydney every quarter, and more, and you've all generously donated to many shelters and we've helped many many doggies who are less fortunate than ours. It's been a joy to see our NSW family grow. Thanks also to Denise Leo for entrusting me and allowing me to get on with it xx What''s next? Whilst I'll still be admin and will attend events, I'm handing over the event organising reigns to the one and only Lousea Dang. She will post the 2020 calendar soon. Events will also now be posted in this group and copied out to the NSW page and other groups so you can still find them. Thanks again Pom family and see you at the next meetup xxx

06.01.2022 Hi Friends, this is a reminder for the upcoming NSW Meetup, which is for XMAS and the final event for 2019. It's on 1 December at Bonna Point Kurnell in the park, under a huge tree, and it offers It a private paddling spot on the beach for Poms. Please bring a picnic, chairs or rug and as many furbabies as possible! The event is free but I will be collecting beds, blankets, dry food, treats, collars and toys to donate to support Golden Oldies and Maggie's Rescue.... 04.01.2022 For our NSW Xmas party, we're asking everyone to bring a donation of bagged food to go to the farmers. Alternatively beds, toys, bowls, leads etc so we can donate to Golden Oldies, to support those who foster or care for surrendered dogs in their twilight years x
03.01.2022 Today we donated all of your generous gifts from the Pomeranians NSW Christmas party to our friends at Maggies Rescue @maggiesrescue in Marrickville. Dora accepted the huge load of items today and was so appreciative. These donations will be used to support animals in foster care. Where there is an excess of items, they will be donated on our behalf to other needy causes including Paws and Recover, Rescue Resources, Saving Staffies, Second chance animal home, Rockies and other locals including Inner west cats. We love this so much! On a personal note, thank you all for being so lovely, kind and caring.
