25.01.2022 Pomona Music Festival NEWS FLASH !!! "Best Little Festival Ever" !!! 26th 27th 28th April .. Ahhhhhhhh that's this Weekend !!! Third & Final update from the Palace !!!!! Dear Subjects, ... As you would all know from our last post, we are unable to attend The Pomona Music Festival "The Best Little Festival Ever" !!! Due to amongst other things Phil losing his licence and off course now another royal munchkin on the way never a dull moment around the palace .. but honestly, we would much rather whoop it up with you friendly hinterland folk out there in the colonies. We have therefore arranged to have it streamed on NoosaFM.org live so we can tune in and keep a check on the servants and ensure your having fun. The Festival is drawing ever closer and only moments away and although we cannot attend ask you all to put your hand in your pocket for the magnificent Majestic Theatre Pomona and get your tickets NOW !!! And keep this glorious icon going into the future. I would also encourage you to support all the local merchants & hunt down some homemade Marmalade for tea & toast at the Pomona Country Markets and then browse some fine art at the Pomona Railway Gallery. We all know . everyone whos anyone loves an art exhibition !!! My husband and I and all the Royals would like to wish the Jesters, Mechanists, Merchants & Attendees a hoot of a Festival filled with fun & frivolity and a little funk !! must go . Yes keeping up with tradition the Majestic Theatre Pomona will be s...howing its Silent Movie at noon this Saturday 27 April as part of the Pomona Music Festival. And the ABC 'The Mix' Program will be there to document it. The first time a silent movie has been played in full authenticity at a music festival !!!! EVER . Because Pomona Music Festival is ..... 17.01.2022 Pomona Music Festival This coming weekend !!! Majestic Theatre Pomona Introducing some of our young performers . Isabel Wood - a singer-songwriter from the ...Sunshine Coast who mesmerises audiences with her soothing vocals and captivating stage presence. She has successfully graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium with a Bachelor of Popular Music and homed in on her unique approach to modern Pop. Isabel's inspirations include the likes of Gabrielle Aplin, Nina Nesbitt and Lennon Stella. These artists have inspired Isabel to step out of the shadow of cover gigs and push to become her own artist her debut EP ‘Satisfied’ marks the beginning of that journey. Aspy Jones definitely an artist you will want to spend time with. This young, local talent has a passion for songwriting and performing. He was awarded a Regional Arts Fund grant to record his debut EP ‘Tantamount’ which was released this year and has already had success with two of the tracks ‘Hatches’ and ‘Madhouse’ reaching the top of the Triple J Unearthed Charts. Aspy Jones has performed at venues across the Sunshine Coast and at Perigian Originals, the Rush Festival, the Gympie Muster and Gympie New Year’s Eve Party supporting Dean Ray and Taylor Henderson. The Dennis Sisters Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, have been honing their song-writing craft and refining their engaging harmonies to create their own genre-crossing original music, for the past three years. With Tiana (18) on guitar and Briannah (19) on bass, the girls began writing in their early teens after a long period of chronic illness which prevented them attending school. They each contribute to song-writing, share lead vocals and blend harmonies the way only siblings can, and in a compelling style spanning Folk, Alt- Limited tickets available !!! 15.01.2022 Pomona Music Festival Chill out Sunday 28th April . showcases Jazzstring performing @ 2pm after Andrea Kirwin Jazz standards from 1920 to 1950... Amanda Gilmour is a vocalist and flautist with 30 plus years of experience performing professionally in a number of music styles. She has released several albums to critical acclaim. Dave Burrows is a guitarist with 40 years experience performing professionally in varios music styles.He performs every year at the Noosa Jazz party. Jazzstring duo has been performing for 15 plus years in many venues including the Brisbane Jazz Club and various music festivals. They present classic jazz standards as performed by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday. Don't miss this gem of a duo !!!
