17.01.2022 UPDATE Our Christmas party will go ahead as planned at Mullum Mullum Reserve on Sunday 24th November. One of our group members made some phone calls, and no cases of Leptospirosis have been reported to authorities, and there has not been an outbreak.... As is the case with all of our meet-ups, it is your choice to bring your dog/dogs to these events, and each person is responsible for their own dog's health and safety, not the organisers.

04.01.2022 IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT OUR POMERANIAN CHRISTMAS PARTY. PLEASE READ. I've had a discussion with Denise Leo this morning about an outbreak of LEPTOSPIROSIS in eastern Melbourne, and the location of our Christmas Party. As Mullum Mullum Reserve is in eastern Melbourne, we have decided to change the location of our Christmas Party to save any potential risk to our dogs. The disease can also be spread to humans. SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME. If you kno...w of any good dog parks in other parts of Melbourne that would be suitable, please let me know. Somewhere where there's shade, car parking, toilets and wheelchair access would be ideal. Please get your thinking caps on as it's only 10 days away. Thanks in advance.
