25.01.2022 #nationalpjday is on Friday 17th July. Come dressed in your Pyjamas!!!

23.01.2022 #happybastilleday today we celebrated Bastille Day with the children. Bastille Day is a common English term for French National Day. The celebration, much like America's Independence Day, takes place on July 14 each year. It is formally called La fete nationale (The National Celebration) or, more commonly in France, La quatorze juillet (the fourteenth of July).

19.01.2022 This week is National Road Safety Week. Find some ideas for you and your school to get involved and encourage people around you to be safe road users: https://education.nsw.gov.au//how-can-we-all-get-involved-

18.01.2022 Today we had Aaliya’s mum who is a #nurse came to talk to us about #hygiene & #handsanitizer, what nurses do in the hospital and how they are good people who help care for us. #communityinvolvement #familyinvolvement

17.01.2022 In line with the recommendations given by the NSW government today we have updated our Covid-19 policy. If your child is displaying flu-like symptoms, even if very mild, including runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever &/or shortness of breath- Please do not send your child to care. If your child is absent from care because of flu-like symptoms, you must not send your child back to care until they have had a Covid-19 test, returning a Negative result & are symptom f...ree. . The centre must receive sight of the Negative Covid-19 result prior to allowing your child to return to care. Results can be emailed to us. . In the case any child is sent home with a runny nose, cough, fever &/or shortness of breath, the family should take their child for a Covid-19 test & submit a Negative test result before they can return to care. If any member of the household has visited a HOTSPOT & have been advised to isolate, regardless of if the results of aCovid-19 test are negative, your children must not attend care for 14 days. The family should submit a medical clearance certificate for the days of exclusion to return to care. Unfortunately we will have to cancel Father's day & Grandparents day morning teas, as well as Diwali celebrations, as we are not allowed to have gatherings. At this stage we may have to also cancel our Christmas Party & Preschool Graduations, however we will see what the conditions will be like later in the year. If we have to cancel we will look at how we can still have a Preschool Graduation & ways in which we can share this with families. We are still able to have our Happy Feet Fitness classes at this stage & the Under the Sea show in October, as these people are delivering curriculum activities, however unfortunately families will not be able to attend. We are also still able to have children therapists attend the service.

16.01.2022 #rednoseday2020 come dressed in Red on Friday!

16.01.2022 Due to new Government recommendations we are advising that any family tested for Coronavirus will not be able to attend the centre for 14 days of isolation. This includes your children, regardless if you or your children have tested negative. Upon return we request a Dr clearance letter. Thank you for your understanding & working with us during the time.

07.01.2022 #nationalsorryday #nationalsorryday2021 Observed annually on 26 May, National Sorry Day remembers and acknowledges the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, which we now know as ‘The Stolen Generations’. National Sorry Day is a day to acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generations Survivors and reflect on how we can all play a part in the healing process for our people and nation. While this date carries great significance for the Stolen Generations and other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, it is also commemorated by Australians right around the country.
