23.01.2022 Little job in Tonny this week. Replace 2 walls and lengths of cornice. Ready to be painted on the weekend for the client.

23.01.2022 Some terrible news out of NSW last night with two volunteer firefighters passing away on the fire ground. Our thoughts are with their families at this time. As a volunteer firefighter myself it hits home a bit at just how dangerous the task can be. Please be safe everyone. On the roads, on the water, on the firegrounds, in the air. Where ever you are. Please be safe. Two young fathers taken long before their time. Rest In Peace boys. ... Just heartbreaking.

22.01.2022 Little cornice patch up job for the residents of glanville village at Echuca hospital. Nice to be able to work for local community places like the hospital. Makes you feel good helping out a bit.

22.01.2022 Did this big ornamental cornice on Saturday morning in Kyabram. Matched in really well. Got the cornice all finished and sanded the job ready to be painted on Sunday. Big thanks to Stace for giving me a hand with the cornice. It’s certainly a 2 man job this big stuff and helping me get it done quicker on my birthday is always good too. Onto the next bathroom tomorrow.

21.01.2022 Ponts plastering will soon be known as Ponts contracting. I’ll still do all aspects of plastering. Aswel and home maintenance and some handyman jobs too. Here is an example of some slashing I did yesterday with a brush cutter to reduce the fire risk to properties for the upcoming summer and to also hopefully reduce the opportunity for snakes to enter properties. Looks much better compared to what it was. ... Cheers.

17.01.2022 Ponts plastering is expanding to Ponts contracting. We now do on site wood splitting, pressure washing, painting, rubbish removal. All sorts. Of course we still do plastering.

16.01.2022 This is why I will never ever use easy tape. It’s just crap. If I’m going to put my name on work I’ll only use the best CSR products and either use fibre fuse joint tape or paper joint tape. Easy tape should be banned. This was pulled out of a ceiling and replaced with fibre fuse joint tape. Best on the market.

16.01.2022 Yesterday’s job all sanded and ready for paint. With only the best CSR products used.

13.01.2022 We’re still working. So far, construction is still an essential service so we are still full steam ahead. Flick me a message if you need some plastering or patching done. Cheers, stay safe, support local, look after yourself and we will be out of this soon. ... Pont. See more

11.01.2022 Massive shout out to mathew Verhey for helping me out on finishing a job yesty. I’m so thankful for this bloke dropping everything and helping me out yesty while I’m out of action for the week in hospital. It’s good to be able to work in together, as we’re all in the same trade and he bailed me out of the dumps on this job. ... Thanks again mate. You’re a legend.

11.01.2022 Nice bit of ornamental cornice for a Friday arvo. There was an old cupboard that has been pulled out and the cornice needed to be matched in. Fiddly stuff this old ornamental so it takes a bit of time to do the mitres but ones they’re polished and finished its worth the time put in. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s ornamental. ... Makes this stuff look tiny. See more

10.01.2022 Yesterday I worked with the plumber from Echuca regional health to locate and fix some leaking pipe work and then got the ceiling patched as soon as I could so as not to disrupt the residents from Glanville village for too long. Was a good team effort! Heading back in today to sand it ready to paint and look like new again. If you or anyone you know needs some plastering, patch work, insurance work, painting or are looking to hire a wood splitter, tandem trailer or petrol p...ressure washer send me a message. Cheers.

08.01.2022 Few external angles stapled on and first coated. I scraped and second coated them Today but forgot to photograph it. Had to Shoot up to mathoura to help a mate hanging plaster in a cabin on the river straight after this job so was in a hurry. ... If you Have any patch jobs or anything that can’t wait till the new year give us a message and we can try sort something out with Ponts plastering. Thanks for supporting local!!

07.01.2022 Here’s some close ups of the cornice we did the other day after it’s been painted. Come up a million bucks. Really looks good and blends in. Wouldn’t even know it was done recently.

07.01.2022 What you can see here. Is nothing. That’s the aim of the game. I’ve just done the final coat of paint on this ceiling patch, I patched it a couple days ago. Sanded and painted it today. I’m more than happy to plaster and paint and do the whole lot to get the job finished and not left un painted for a time. The room is all done and dusted and ready to move back into

06.01.2022 Started a new job at about 5.30 tonight. Put the battens up ready to hang tomorrow. Been pretty busy the last few days with a big project of a different kind. I’ll shed some light on that next week once we achieve more. Certainly a very unusual job.... Tomorrow’s task is to hang the plaster sheets and start trowelling, try get this job finished before we get back into the other one again on Tuesday. As you can see, even at 5.30 on a Saturday night Ill still start a job and do my best to get it done as quickly as possible for the client.

06.01.2022 Well folks this one is done and dusted for Rhys Costello carpentry. It’s opened up these two rooms nicely and makes the house feel much bigger. One more shop to do next week right before Christmas then a couple of weeks off. Looking forward to a break. Thanks everyone for the support this year. ... Pont. See more

03.01.2022 Putting the final coat of paint on this ceiling I replaced last week before Christmas. Being a takeaway food shop I’ve had to come in over the break and tear down the old ceiling, replace it with new gyprock And cornice and also paint it. Ceiling was stopped to the standard 3 coat plaster system per CSR regulations and a 3 coat paint system has been applied. Only the best quality products were used. CSR gyrock and Haymes paints.

03.01.2022 Pont is now offering portable pressure washing, as long as tap water is available. On site wood splitting. Any size timber. Anywhere. And of course the same top quality plastering with the best quality products used at a reasonable price. ... In these trying times of covid-19 if you need a hand and are struggling flick me a message and we should be able to work something out. Cheers. Stay safe, Pont.

02.01.2022 Finished up this job over the weekend. Extended en-suite and walk in robe. Had to match old plaster with new but it’s come up well. The owners are stoked and I’m happy to have been able to provide a quality job using only the best CSR products.
