20.01.2022 A big thankyou to the Mt Barker Agricultural Show for letting us run the ASH classes again this year. While the numbers were down a little from last year the we...ather was great and I am hoping everyone had as much fun as I did!Mt Barker Ag Society Horse Show Vanity had a good show and she is slowly improving me in the saddle. She also felt like Cinderella when we found her shoe that she lost in the hacking in the morning! A big thanks to Sequin Lodge - Debbie-Ron Reeve for sponsoring the Supreme Led ASH and Rustic Pics for the ASHLA! Another big thankyou to Karen Mori who travelled down to the deep south to judge and also share her valuable words of wisdom to our new and older competitors! Of course these events dont happen without everyone that pitches in and helps out - Anne Lasini for behind the lense and behind the scenes organising, couriering and ideas, Miet Skinner for pencilling, organising judges lunch and being a huge support, Marie O'Dea for seemingly being willingly dragged in because she was there (time to get an ASH! ), dorothy henderson and Sandy Forbes for happily pitching in with scoring! Of course our sponsors were once again wonderful - a big thanks to ASHS Great Southern Branch (WA) Boehringer Ingelheim &Kym Jones Sequin Lodge debbie-ron reeve, Jilly Hancock Heiniger Equine - Australia & New Zealand Trish Goodchild Aussi Country StockhorsesJess Brookview Rural Outfitters Kirk Baker CF SignWood whom also ran around and organised and put together our one of a kind trophiesand our generous branch member that is the first to put a hand up and sponsor every year! 17.01.2022 Brilliant day at the Kojonup Show! Vanity had a great time thankyou to Aussi Ladette Aussi Country Stockhorses, Central Zone Ash for the ASH bag and Alkapellets... for sponsoring our ASH classes! Thankyou to the Kojonup Equestrian club for organising, our lovely judge Jenny Daley Wilcox and steward Melissa Williams as well as all our organisers, competitors, sponsors and ponies! We also had a big day in the chook shed - still missing that elusive cock of the show ribbon but did pretty good! Thankyou to the 124 cafe and Elders for sponsoring the chooks! We also won lots in the flowers ending up with the most points for flowers and cut specimens! Thankyou to Chris Owen for our lovely prize! I think the days highlight was the Scotch College Band! i have to point out to people that I have a bit of an idea with the ponies but absolutley no idea with the rest! See more
