09.01.2022 Last weekend Maryborough PC and Midland Zone provided State level training and assessment for PCA Level 1 and Preliminary coaches. We had 6 coaches achieve the Level 1, with two of them also gaining the games specialist accreditation. Seven coaches achieved their Preliminary and another seven attending for updating. Congratulations to all those who achieved a new level. Huge thanks to our State Assessors Shelley McCrae and Sally Watson along with Midland Zone Chief Instructor Linda Gerring who all put in many hours to ensure the weekend was a success.

06.01.2022 Ringwood PC of NMZ hosted our final NCAS training and assessment opportunity for Pony Club Victoria coaches over the weekend. We welcome and congratulate our new Prelim and Level 1 coaches and thank all of those who came for updates and further training. Huge thanks must go to all the NMZ riders who did a brilliant job of representing their clubs and smiling the whole time, without you we cannot run these days. Ringwood PC offered their club at quite short notice and were superb hosts, special mention to Trish for her coordination and brilliant organisation. THANK YOU! Thanks to our coach mentors and assessors Bev, Paul and Kathleen long with Brooke and Kammy who also assisted. Finally, thank you to the NMZ DCI/ZA panel and in particular Rob and Rachael for all their help.

05.01.2022 PCA Written Assessment Test papers are now available for candidates completing the new syllabus C certificate. Details on this process have been emailed to club secretaries, DC's, certificate coordinators and Chief Coaches. Reminder that candidates following the 'old' syllabus are to complete assessment by March 2021. Clubs should be finalising these riders and contacting their zone examining secretary to ensure they are aware of how many candidates you have. Higher certificate candidates following 'old' syllabus C*/K, B have until April 2021.

You will learn about the vital role codes of conduct and risk management policies play in protecting kids, in addition to the important practical tools all volunteers can implement in each club setting.
