01.01.2022 Several underpainting layers occur before I start to add the ‘fur’ markings. This is when the dog starts to come to life and the values deepen to create the shapes. The eyes also bring the dog to life so it’s really important to get a good reference photo that helps me replicate the eye colour. After all, we look into their eyes everyday so I want the portrait to replicate the dog we know and love. Captured on Watercolour paper, I create portraits for you to capture your furbaby forever.
