25.01.2022 Five horses clipped this week for Hawkesbury show for people heading out there. Managed to get little Rango clipped for the show but not sure Ill get Fabio done in time . Taking one is better than none I guess.

25.01.2022 Two little cuties I clipped today, Dolly and Biscuit the Miniature Horses. They were very well behaved and I am sure they are a lot cooler and less itchy now their longs coats have been removed.

24.01.2022 Monday saw me heading out to the Nepean RDA to clip little Leo, who suffers from cushings and has trouble shedding his thick coat for the summer months. He will be a lot cooler and happier now.

22.01.2022 The other week I was lucky enough to look after Pickles and Kransky. Aren’t they beautiful?

22.01.2022 I currently have two miniature horses available to go to a new home. Both are by imported sire Bluegables Aloha Pretty Boy, State, National and Grand National champion in halter and classic head. Cherry Wood Fun In Acapulco aka Rango... You would be hard-pressed finding a miniature horse of this size with proper horse proportions. He currently stands at 28" at two-years-old and is an Arabian Horse type in a tiny package. What he lacks in height he makes up for in personality and manners. Fully show trained and ready to go on with (although if you planned to breed with him you might need a stool for him lol) His only downfall is his colour. Bright chestnut isnt everyones favourite shade, unfortunately. $2 0 0 0. Registered. Been to nationals and did well in halter and classic head. Easy to train or do anything with. Cherry Wood Cross My Heart aka Astoria Astoria is a yearling miniature horse. She will mature higher-end miniature horse (34.5") Her first and only show was as a 6-month-old for a week at Tamworth where she behaved perfectly. She had good results and a second in a large colour class. Astoria is easy to train and do anything with. She loves being clipped, especially her ears. Astoria is a dun miniature horse. She has the full dorsal stripe, leg barrings and cob-webbing on her face. She would be an asset to anyone wanting to breed dun miniatures. Dun miniature horses with characteristics to her extent arent seen very often so she really stands out in a crowd. $ 1 5 0 0 Registered imhr. Her dam has been shown at Sydney Royal and has won. Her maternal sister is a national and state champion in halter, hunter and trail classes.

17.01.2022 I clipped Paris yesterday. I’ve been feeding her for over a year when her owners go away and yesterday I finally got to clip her she was excellent apart from between her back legs but we got there in the end. Clipping horses is so satisfying.

17.01.2022 Beautiful George is the only rooster I have come across that I like. All the rest are giant jerks . George follows me around like a puppy and lets me pat and pick him up. He doesnt let having only one eye stop him living his best life.

15.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all my amazing clients. This year has been a great year and was bigger than any previous year! We are finally starting to grow and gain a large client base.

14.01.2022 I finished up my last few jobs and now understandably have nothing left. If for any reason anyone needs to get away for an emergency I am available to care for your animals. I am still offering horse clipping if anyones horse/s desperately need to be clipped for comfort/hygiene purposes. ... 14.01.2022 Before and after of Mister all clipped and ready for his show. Doesn't he look great! He is a solid boy and I was surprised to have him clipped in around an hour and a half yesterday. Because his coat was meticulously clean with no dirt or oils, it really does make the job faster when I am not battling through oily coats or dirt an inch thick, which is why I ask they be bathed a day or two prior to clipping it really does make it quicker for me and your horse will be happier that they don't have to stand around for longer than necessary.

14.01.2022 Its been pretty quiet for us lately with lockdowns, border closures and everyone staying home. I am so thankful for the work I have been getting as it is a huge help. Whilst I havent had all that much to do, we got stuck in and started to get the project I started over a year ago finished. Nearing the end of it now, and I never want to do another float up for as long as I live . ... A 42-year-old float that was rusted and falling to pieces now back from the dead and ready to roll again. And yes, I even designed the logo myself.

13.01.2022 We recently adopted this old boy from the pound. Estimated age 10 years old. He’s the most affectionate cat, following me around and crawling into my arms whenever he can. He loves to press his head against ours at any chance he gets. He was very skinny and fur matted when he got to the pound, he had to be shaved down so has a bit of a donkey tail at the moment.

09.01.2022 A year to the day, I was back to clip River for an endurance ride. This year, his owner opted to keep some hair on and went for a blanket clip, so as to not have the saddle rub. He was well behaved as usual.

08.01.2022 On Sunday night we had a new family member born. A little Grulla filly out of my mare, Aphrodite. Aphrodite had a few post-foaling complications and had to be rushed to the vet clinic at 12.30 in the morning, but she is back home and making a full recovery. Meet Leilani.

02.01.2022 Two horses clipped this week and one to go on Saturday. Today was a trace clip and I only had to drive sixty seconds up the road. Nice and close. Now hes ready to go back into work tomorrow.
