12.01.2022 So yesterday Pooches And Pinot hosted a Big Roast for the two of us(!) at home, thanks to lockdown, to help raise money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. 94 families did the same all around Australia and we were all united by and showing our love for Kirsty Bowness and her family, and their two children Liam and Grace who have CF. And the extraordinary team at Rob Dolan Wines pulled this massive event together virtually with videos, photos, a silent auction and fabulous ...raffle. We may have had one glass too many of Rob Dolans awesome wine and over-excitedly bid for and won the 5-night stay at a stunning BnB in Lorne which we are looking forward to enjoying with our wonderful friends Kay Trembath and Barry who first introduced us to Kirsty and family. Named after the coolest of nuns who, well ahead of the rest of the world, championed the cause for gay rights and people with a disability. A former weatherboard chapel from Healesville’s Main Street, legend has it it was picked up and moved to its current location years ago and bricked around. And now it’s beginning it’s newest life as a cafe.
