16.01.2022 Pet owners in NSW have been thrown a bone, with any blanket ban on keeping animals in apartment buildings ruled unlawful by the NSW Court of Appeal. The court r...uled that pet bans appeared to be for the convenience of the strata committee and that animals did not adversely affect other occupants lots. The decision comes after a five-year legal battle by dog-owner Jo Cooper to keep her mini schnauzer Angus in her apartment despite a pet ban.

12.01.2022 A short-beaked echidna puggle has been taken to the Taronga Zoo Sydney Wildlife Hospital and is now being hand-raised after an interesting turn of events saw it... requiring specialist care. The puggle was brought into the hospital last month from the Central Coast after members of the public saw it drop about 4 metres from a tree where a raven and magpie were perched. The puggle had scratches and lacerations to its back so it’s suspected that it was taken from its burrow by a bird of prey. Despite its ordeal, this little puggle doing so well. Since arriving at the hospital its lacerations have almost completely healed, it’s putting on weight and is also starting to grow a thin layer of fur all of which are all promising signs." said Senior Keeper Sarah Male.

05.01.2022 Cannot recommend Jules enough. We headed away just before Christmas expecting to return for New Year. Our holiday was extended and Jules stepped up to take care... of our 2 cats for the extended time. Even going out to buy special food. We have a young cat and a very old man 17 years old. He is very frail. Jules visited twice a day to medicate and feed. Her understanding of aging animals is amazing. Tubby really loves Jules. The care she gave our Tubby was amazing. We recieved so many amazing videos everyday. Jules also collected post and watered the plants. She is truely an amazing person. Thank you Jules. See more
