20.01.2022 Good morning as most people know Poochie’s Lounge has been closed, I am trying to juggle homeschooling and stay safe with Covid 19 around. I have now started to open on weekends, I am slowly working through all my regular clients who were booked in. This time has made me realise how much I truly love my job and all my clients. 13.01.2022 Hi Everyone hope everyone is safe and doing well. Please note during this unsure times I am trying my best to keep my family and clients safe. I now have the added stress of homeschooling starting from next week I am unsure how I am going to make it all work. Dog grooming is not essential and even if it was I would not be sending my son back to Cairns at this early stage with the virus still around. I appreciate everyone who has been understanding and by doing the right t...hing by our community and social distancing to keep our community safe. Please remember do not let other people touch your pet in case they have the virus as it can be transmitted on the animals fur, this also goes for allowing you pet to play with other peoples dogs. The days I have been able to work it has looked like I am attending a crime scene but please know I am doing this for your safety and my familys. See more

Just giving everyone a heads up that I will be having to take six weeks off of work, I’m not sure when the specialist will be fitting me in, I’m hoping that it’s could be just after Christmas in my quiet time but who knows so I cannot stress enough to please make sure if your dog is needing a groom to book in now and get done as soon as possible as I do not know when the specialist will be booking my operation thank you regards Kylie.

13.01.2022 Morning Everyone Poochie’s Lounge is Open but please note school holidays are coming up and I will only be working on select days to avoid having my children at work with COVID-19. I now also close before school finishes weekdays, so please do not wait until the last minute to try and book or until after winter to have your dogs groomed. I know it is cool at the moment but matting can be painful for your Pooch and we don’t know if we will have to close shop again if Covid returns. Hi everyone I don’t norma...lly ask people to donate money it is normally my business that is being asked but I am so proud of Heleana my daughter for wanting to try and help other people. During this time at home it has given us time to be grateful to be living in a beautiful community and to have our health and family to help us through. We had planned on moving to Melbourne next year for Heleana to pressure schooling for her dancing but this time has really made us realise we love our little town of Innisfail and we have decided to stay So when Heleana found out the dance community around Australia/NZ were getting together to try and raise money to support sick kids she wanted to join in and I am wanting to really support her as I believe it is for a amazing cause Ensuring sick kids have a home-away-from-home at Ronald McDonald House when they need lifesaving treatment So Heleana is dancing ever day for two hours for the next week seven days to support sick kids. Today is day 3 Once again We understand times are really tough at the moment and even if you can’t donate if you could share we would really appreciate it. This week being school holidays and Innisfail dance competition I am only opened two days, I do have a couple of appointments left next week but I will only be calling people back on nights I do not have dancing sorry. Regular booking are filling up my 2hour appointments so if you are chasing a 2hour appointment please don’t be disappointed and continue to book in advance on the day of your appointment

01.01.2022 Hi Everyone Due to Covid-19 Rules have bee put in place for Poochie’s Lounge so I can continue to Stay Open at this Stage. I am sorry for any inconvenience but we can all do our small part to help protect each other in these unsure times. ... 1. Please use Social Distancing, think like you have the virus and you are trying to not give it to anyone (if we all do this we might be able to save lives) 2. Only 1 person in my Shop at a time. 3. Please remove all collars and leads and take them with you, then place your Pooch in the cage provided out the front to avoid any human contact. 4. All money is to be put in the container provided with the disinfectant in, the money I have has already been Disinfected. But if you can try and bring the correct money even better. 5. Unfortunately there is no waiting in Salon for your Pooch to be finished please text if you are wanting to know if they are ready to be picked up 6.
