24.01.2022 Hi Everyone just to put some good old fashion Innisfail Rumours to a close. Yes I am still open but my hours have changed I now close at 2.00. I have not gotten back to everyone as my family comes first and so do my regular clients that have kept me open all these years. With the change of hours I can only do so many dogs a day and if I don’t I won’t make enough money to pay my bills it’s just that simple, so when taking on new clients it is a hard one for me because I d...on’t know the behaviour or how long they will take and it is proven that 50% of my new clients in Innisfail just don’t bother to turn up. I am now very reluctant to book unless I see the dog and also the fact I have not had any spare appointments. If I have offended people or not gotten back to you, I am truly sorry, but I have to look after my family and business first. 24.01.2022 I would like to Wish Everyone A Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year 2020 has been a crazy year for most of us and I am definitely looking forward to 2021. There will be some changes at Poochies next year as my hours will be changing as both my children will now be going to high school in Cairns. My hours are yet to be decided but it is looking that I will be starting earlier and finishing at two, But please watch this space as everything will be updated on Face...book. Booking will be essential as I have limited availability once my regular clients are booked in. Hi everyone I don’t norma...lly ask people to donate money it is normally my business that is being asked but I am so proud of Heleana my daughter for wanting to try and help other people. During this time at home it has given us time to be grateful to be living in a beautiful community and to have our health and family to help us through. We had planned on moving to Melbourne next year for Heleana to pressure schooling for her dancing but this time has really made us realise we love our little town of Innisfail and we have decided to stay So when Heleana found out the dance community around Australia/NZ were getting together to try and raise money to support sick kids she wanted to join in and I am wanting to really support her as I believe it is for a amazing cause Ensuring sick kids have a home-away-from-home at Ronald McDonald House when they need lifesaving treatment So Heleana is dancing ever day for two hours for the next week seven days to support sick kids. 13.01.2022 Morning everyone I have just dropped Heleana off for orientation day for high school in Cairns so Poochie’s Lounge is closed today but this gives me the opportunity to go over all of my appointments up to Christmas time and try to find any spare spaces I may still have. If you are still chasing a appointment before Christmas please message me straight away to go on my waiting list. 08.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. As most of you know it has been a crazy start to 2021 for me and I have now finally rebooked everyone that already had bookings made. I have missed a lot of phone calls and a lot of messages and I am sorry for the inconvenience. As most of my regular clients know both my children will be attend high school in Cairns now so I have cut my hours and will be closing at 2 o’clock unless my children are coming home on the bus in which I will be open by appo...intment only. With limited hours I am only looking at taking clients that wish to become a regular grooming member and unfortunately if your dog is looking for a yearly groom and is heavily matted I unfortunately will not be the groomer for you this time. 08.01.2022 Good morning everyone, Happy New Years as most know I have been at the National Finals with my daughter Heleana on the Gold Coast. Very proud to say Heleana received National Champion again this year for Student Choreography and 3 in Hip Hop so we are glad we made the trip even though it turned into a crazy time. Please note both Heleana and myself did a Covid Test on returning and they both returned Negative but I will ask that we take precautions and do the cage drop of again after what has taken place recently. 06.01.2022 Hi everyone, I would just like to say thank you to all of my clients for their understanding at this time. Some of you may know that my husband and I had found out that I was pregnant, to say we were in shock was an understatement, to be honest it was like a rollercoaster ride of emotions. We had only just gotten over the shock to only find out on Tuesdays that Bub no longer had a heart beat at our second scan, so I am going in tomorrow so Poochie’s will be shut for the day.... Over this time people have listen to me(probably because I gave you no option sorry) and told me there story’s and you will never truly know how much this has meant to me and how thankful I am. I am hoping that Monday I will be back to work and starting to rebook appointments that I have canceled, then I will start to book all other appointments. Once again thank you xox See more
