24.01.2022 The lower holding tank on an infinity edge pool is notorious for collecting all the leaves and debris as they spill over from the main pool. Many of our customers choose to eliminate this problem by fitting a cover to the lower tank. The cover fits perfectly to the tank and is made from a special fabric which can handle the surges of water as they come over the wall. The water instantly sieves through the mesh, leaving leaves and debris high and dry on top of the cover which can be tidied up with a leaf blower from time to time. The cover is easy to remove for maintenance and cleaning, but is generally a permanent fixture throughout the whole year.

22.01.2022 We see many unsuccessful attempts by customers trying to deter ducks from pooping in and around their pools. Without hesitation, we can categorically advise that bird netting, toy snakes, owls and motion detection sprinklers do not work. One recent customer was going out of his mind, having tried a variety of unsuccessful methods. He is now elated, advising us today that the ducks departed within 48 hours of the installation of our Premium Leaf & Debris Cover. 22.01.2022 We often receive calls from concerned people saying that their Solar Blanket has blown off in the wind. This almost always occurs because the cover has not been trimmed correctly to the waterline of the pool. The photo below shows a ridge-top pool which is in an extremely exposed and windy area. We fitted a solar blanket and roller to this pool just a few weeks ago with an exact waterline cut. Looks great, doesn't it! Well, less than a week later a gale force wind came thr...ough. The wind was so intense that it picked up the neighbours chook shed and flung it over the boundary fence, finally coming to rest against a tree about 50m away! See photo. Needless to say, the solar blanket stayed firmly on the pool as designed. Further, nothing special was needed to achieve this result. The cover was just trimmed with a pair of scissors and fitted in the recommended way. On very large pools in a commercial installation, several covers are deployed in strips and they are fitted with wind skirts to prevent the wind from lifting the edges. 20.01.2022 Is this the WORST pool cover you have ever seen? A past customer contacted us a couple of months ago. Regrettably, their Premium Leaf Cover had been damaged in a recent storm and was to be the subject of an insurance claim. We were pleased to submit a competitive quotation for the supply of an identical cover to the one which had been damaged. However, the order did not immediately proceed. I attended the property today at the invitation of the owner and was horrified to s...ee what the insurer had provided as the replacement - a cheap and nasty alternative! The cover is badly puckered at the edges such that leaves and debris can blow freely underneath. Also, the cover does not have the rigidity to span the pool without dipping into the water so floats have been fitted under the cover causing unsightly bumps in an effort to keep the cover out of the water. If this was not bad enough, the installer had damaged a number of paving bricks around the pool during the installation. Naturally, the property owner is extremely dissatisfied with the appalling quality and fit of the replacement cover which will not even support itself across the span of the pool! He instructed us to provide a cover of commensurate quality to the one which was destroyed. The final photo displayed is of our replacement Premium Leaf & Debris Cover which (of course) is a perfect fit to the pool. The cover did not even require installation because it was an exact replica of the original cover. All that was needed was to unfold the cover and insert the hooks into their original flush anchor holes. 17.01.2022 This spectacular waterside pool has a peculiar design, such that the glass walls are at different heights. For a cover to be successfully fitted, it was necessary for us to fabricate an aluminium spar, to support the cover across the void. The spar is extremely lightweight and is easily removable in seconds. Naturally, the property owner was delighted and emailed to say that "this was the best pool cover he had ever seen". We think our Premium Leaf & Debris Cover is the best cover available on the Australian market too!
16.01.2022 Another difficult pool with our Premium Leaf & Debris Cover perfectly fitted to prevent all dirt and leaves. This pool was particularly complicated. Not only does it have an 18m inaccessible side, but the wall also has indentations, so the cover must be tailored to the exact specification. As you can see, it is a perfect result. Total pool closure, without a ripple or crease!
15.01.2022 We were recently approached by a frustrated customer who had contacted several companies to fit a solar blanket to his pool. The gentleman is confined to a wheelchair and requires the pool for exercise. However, he was repeatedly told that the job could not be done. It is true that the pool had many complications which would preclude a standard installation. The shape and inaccessibility of access to some sides of the pool did not allow the blanket to be trimmed on site. ...A full CAD drawing of the pool would have to be undertaken for the blanket to be correctly cut off-site. Because of the infinity wall and raised spa, the roller was unable to be positioned anywhere that would span the entire pool. This meant that the width of the blanket would have to be restricted by the length of the roller. Nevertheless, we managed to cover about 95% of the pool, so the benefits of having the cover were not far short of 100%. There was, however, a further complication with the infinity wall. Without the protection of a normal coping, the wind would easily lift the cover and displace it from the pool. So a wind skirt was fitted to prevent this inevitability. Finally we added a power roller to assist with removal and refit of the cover, so the cover could be rolled on or off with the touch of a button! The final result was outstanding. 14.01.2022 We recently completed an electric Commercial Under Bench Roller and Thermotech Cover installation at a brand new swim school, Fit2Swim at Maroubra. The cover will efficiently retain heat in the pool and will almost eliminate condensation in the swim school when the cover is in use, saving precious water and energy. The centre looks great and we wish Dan and his team all the very best, both with the cover and the new school!

The cover was tailored perfectly to fit around the spa which juts out into the main pool and backs onto a sandstone feature wall. 10.01.2022 A pool waterfall or cascade creates a relaxing sound and a lovely visual feature. However, from a technical standpoint, the cascade is often an essential part of the pool filtration system which is unable to be shut off. This aspect may create a problem when selecting a pool cover. 07.01.2022 It is amazing to see what some owners will try in a vain attempt to prevent ducks from contaminating their pool. However, the real solution is to BREAK THE DUCK CYCLE by installing a Leaf & Debris Cover which is high and dry above the water line. Our Leaf Cover will deny access to your pool by even the most persistent duck! Once the ducks have relocated, the cover can be removed for your unimpeded enjoyment of the pool during summer. 07.01.2022 I apologize that I have not written in a while. We have been extremely busy and doing some awesome pool cover work right across the Country. A few examples are shown here. Now until June is our busiest time when folks are mostly done with the pool but the leaves continue to fall. The cover is high and dry above the water level and will totally deny the ducks from accessing the water. Please note the solar blanket & roller in the background. While the solar blanket is a great summer cover to increase the water temperature, a solar blanket will not prevent ducks or keep the pool clean.
