Here the window sill is within the outside of the pool fence 90cm non-climbable zone (NCZ). A contractor simply replaced the original 1.2M high fence panel with a 1.8M fence panel. Problem solved for a minimum expense, pool is now compliant and leased!

25.01.2022 Pool safety tips. Non Climbable zone (NCZ), a clear area 30cm inside the pool fence and 90cm outside of the pool fence. When this modern pool was built these plants would have been tiny. Fast forward a few years and now they're climbable shrubs. With the plants removed this NCZ passes!
