19.01.2022 Ji & Chang Vision & Virtue Ji & Chang is a family office, founded on passion, hard work and knowledge, turning projects and investments into impact. Ji & Chang create and invest in businesses with purpose, with each success allowing for greater investment into schools, scholarships and start-ups. The brand should align with this purpose, it should be quietly confident, approachable yet exude ambition and quality.... Just as Ji & Chang wish to create and leave a lasting legacy for the children, we believed this was an opportunity to create a brand and stationery set that would leave an equally impressive mark on those that would interact with the business and the brand. The brand is exquisitely crafted with no detail overlooked. A subtle Asian undertone acknowledges the client’s heritage. The monogram is an inter-connected ‘J & C’ that seeks to communicate the family bond and Ji & Chang’s profound connection to the community. Abstractly it’s a butterfly (when reflected) which communicates Ji & Chang’s purpose - to create profound change. 15.01.2022 Stone paper journal range consisting of journal and card design for @graciousminds Gracious Minds - Brevity & Bravery Words fall on stone sheets; expressive and reflective strings of sentences speak of cherished memories and anxiety ridden moments. Jet black pen scratchings and honest ‘fuck yous’, reveal the most inner of thoughts. From note taking in echoing lecture halls to warm candlelit baths, Gracious Minds is with you; where astounding truths remain raw and honest.... Whilst Gracious Minds has since evolved into a wellness shop selling a range of products, Pop & Pac were tasked with providing a framework for and launching the first iteration of the business; a stone paper journal range sold online and in boutique retail stores. Our involvement included brand strategy and messaging, brand identity and collateral creation. Gracious Minds is the brand that supports and empowers the mind of the individual and the environment. Gracious Minds understands the positive effect journaling can have on the mind and the unapologetic and honest nature of our deepest thoughts put on paper. Given the personal nature of journaling, there was an opportunity to create a brand that had great flexibility through a level of personalisation, but also one that could make an impact; the ability to cut through the plethora of the light and delicate and have a more profound presence in the journal and diary marketplace. Three custom fonts were created to align with the brands key message 'raw, honest, equal'. Three debossed windows were stamped on to the journals; an empty space left for self expression. 09.01.2022 Zest - Flavour & Fervour Zest; where you'll discover the perfect balance for Coffeekind. We are looking to the future. Uncovering flavour terrains, filled with wonder. Together we journey to new flavour destinations. With a balance of experience and exploration, we unearth the diversity of coffee; enticing the coffee drinker to discover the flavours that make up their daily dose. Zest had an undeniable strength in regional areas of Australia and their sales at these locations... reflected this. Our objective was to elevate the brand and packaging so that it would have a broader national appeal. The challenge was to elevate the brand so that it could hold its own inside the trendy inner city cafes, yet whatever we produced could not be so out of character that it would alienate Zest from their existing market and customer base. The opportunity existed to create a brand that could flex on multiple levels. It could be bright and colourful, or subtle and succinct. It could be bold or light. This was true for the packaging, logos and messaging; with the added intent to invite curiosity and therefore new customers. Overarchingly there existed an opportunity to establish a community, one with shared values which centred around family a direct connection to the family run business. On one side, colourful graphics set Zest apart, allowing for a powerful shelf presence. On the reverse side a more premium and understated feel adds breadth and diversity. Carefully crafted labels and sleeves communicate their attention to detail and knowledge for coffee, whilst the dividing line has been transformed into a window, a vehicle for two pieces to come together and tell one story. A simple yet playful packaging system designed for ease of assembly where ranges are separated based on their core colours. 07.01.2022 Wonder - Wander & Wonder Slathering a luscious, silky chocolate puddle back and forth on a marble slab; the process of tempering chocolate is tangibly captured, enticing a desire to discover, touch and taste. Wonder Cacao: Inciting a delectable bliss and capturing your imagination. - Our packaging and brand design for Wonder Cacao began with a brief to elevate the chocolate experience. Through the client’s own love for chocolate and a wanderlust that had him explore the world... to find the best cacao, we had the perfect creative starting point. Our design centres on the lathering and swathing of chocolate, whilst also mimicking the client’s own journey across many mountainous regions. A custom moulded emboss was painstakingly hand etched, aligning to the artisanal artform of the chocolatier. A custom logotype was designed with luxury in mind with a subtle whisp adding to the sense of a journey and adding a touch of femininity.
