25.01.2022 We're excited to announce that, as of 1st June 2020, we're once again able to open to the tourist market. So, pack your bags, hitch up the van or dust off your tent and come visit us in beautiful Camden. We're only an hour from Sydney! Our park is a short stroll to Camden Village where you'll be spoilt for choice with the range of cafes, restaurants, boutiques and shops selling an eclectic mix of curious new and old. After a tough start to the year, the local businesses ar...e hoping to see you soon too. But that's not the only thing to do here in Camden... there's hiking, bike riding, horse riding, hot air ballooning, skydiving, fishing, the list goes on... Why not visit Australia's largest Botanic Gardens - it's stunning all year round. We've got a range of accommodation to suit everyone. There's even pet friendly cabins (subject to availability) and, of course, if you're staying in your own van or tent, your fur friends are always welcome. 24.01.2022 The State Government is allowing caravan and tourist parks to provide a resting place for caravans and RVs returning to their permanent residence or travellers without a fixed address. If you're passing through Camden on your way back to your place or residence and want to rest for the night, we have powered campsites for self-sufficient travellers with onboard bathroom facilities and ensuite sites for those without. Additionally, for permanent travellers with no fixed addr...ess, we are able to accommodate you until you're ready to move on. 06.01.2022 The NSW State Government has introduced a new Public Health Order, which came into effect at 12.00am on 31 March 2020. That order, Public Health (COVID-19) Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order 2020, includes guidelines clarifying when it's OK to leave the house. Here's what you can leave your home for: Work, if a person can't work from home School or an educational institution... Shops for food and other essential items Get medical care Exercise, but only if the exercise is done alone or with one other person Beyond those essential reasons for leaving your home, the Government has provided a list which may "excuse" somebody being outside. It includes: Fleeing an unsafe home, so to avoid injury or illness Dealing with an emergency or on compassionate grounds Providing care or helping a vulnerable relative/person Taking your child to childcare Attending a wedding (adhering to the five-person limit) or a funeral (adhering to a 10-person limit) Moving house or moving between two places of residence Donating blood Fulfilling legal obligations Accessing support services such as employment services, mental services etc Fulfilling parental sharing arrangements of children (the Government says those conditions shouldn't change and children can move between homes) Going to a place of worship or to provide pastoral care, if you are a priest, minister or member of a religious order. You should be aware that taking a holiday in a regional area is expressly noted as not being a reasonable excuse. As you can see the list is designed to limit non-essential travel and non-essential gatherings, in order to limit the spread of COVID-19 within our community. We ask that all residents and bona fide guests comply with these directions and help your fellow occupants stay healthy.
