21.01.2022 We love to use lots of dried flowers, but my favourite is the tiny dried roses we have in our paper making kit. It looks absolutely gorgeous crushed on top of recycled paper. Did you know that we use 100% pure Rose Geranium essential oil in our new Makeup Kit? Omg it smells divine and so does our warehouse now... I thought you may be interested to learn a bit about it too! Rose geranium is a flowering plant native to South Africa (Pelargonium graveolen). It produces lovely blush pink flowers with distinctive purple markings on their petals. The flowers are not used in creating rose geranium oil, but instead both the leaves and stalks of the plant are used to make the oil. Due to its richness in antioxidants, rose geranium can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and restore a vitality to your skin through healing imperfections. It also has the ability to fade scars and stretch marks, as well as prevent acne and clogged pores as it has strong anti-bacterial properties. It is also known to have anti-inflammatory properties, so rose geranium oil can also alleviate symptoms of many skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis or even just any irritated areas of skin. I have been saying for a while now I dislike the colour purple but I keep being drawn to it. @lafindesign you may remember me saying this a lot when we worked together, yet in creeps purple as I’m drawn to press purple flowers and I’ve found a new love for the earthy purple tones thanks to @sweet_little_light and @yourwildbooks who made this beautiful purple paper.... I remember it was also the Pantone colour of 2018 and I thought yuck! But would you believe it that my new packaging for my next Let’s Create kit is....yes you guess it purple... a beautiful earthy lavender and it’s divine

14.01.2022 What words would you want your daughter to repeat to herself? A big one for me is being 'proud of myself'. I read when my kids were little that rather than saying "I'm proud of you" it is better to say "you must be so proud of yourself or I am so proud of you too" this teaches your children to strive to achieve things for themselves - it removes the need to impress their parents/peers/teachers and puts the responsibility back onto them.... What would you like your daughters to know about themselves? 14.01.2022 Being a Brit in Australia the COVID restrictions means I haven’t seen my parents in years and potentially can’t for a long while yet. Currently they can’t get into Australia because they’re not classed as immediate family. They’ve had both injections and are willing to quarantine but we still can’t see them. This is heart breaking for me and many others with aging parents.... This petition is all about getting parents to be classed as immediate family so they can get an exemption to visit. 07.01.2022 I have this set as my screen saver on my computer! I love the reminder of why I started our brand and why I keep going when it’s hard or I’m tired. 02.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day down under! We had no set plans so after a lazy morning we enjoyed an impromptu breaky in Caloundra and people watched whilst the market was on. Nothing fancy, just good quality family time with his ladies.... Gosh poppy loves her food!!! Hope you’ve had a nice time with your loved ones today and thinking of those who can’t be with their Dads today
