17.01.2022 With so much devastation around the Nation, Porky’s has set up a fundraiser to support the Vinnies Bushfire Appeal. $10 from every completed booking during the months of January and February 2020 will be donated directly to Vinnies. You can also donate directly through the link to help those people in need. Vinnies support those affected by the bushfires by providing food and clothing to those who have been evacuated, helping with bills and unexpected expenses for those who have lost their homes, as well as helping people re-establish themselves with furniture, bedding and appliances.

17.01.2022 Very handy reading as we are coming towards the winter months. We can handle any of the checks and services you need to keep your car running in the colder weather https://www.allianz.com.au/roadside-//winter-car-care-tips

16.01.2022 Porky’s will be open during the Christmas school holiday period We will be closed on public holidays and a few other days here and there, but you can always contact us via messenger.

14.01.2022 If you are one of the many who are concerned with social distancing, then a mobile mechanic can be your best bet when dealing with car repairs and servicing. You don’t need to come into a shop front and interact with multiple staff members. You also don’t have to sit in the waiting room for an hour or so (potentially with other customers in close proximity). Porky’s can offer you a non-contact scenario if you so wish, whereby you simply leave the keys in a safe location before our arrival time and then we send you an emailed invoice for payment via internet banking. Simple!

13.01.2022 When was the last time you gave your vehicle a once over? As we head into winter, the sun starts to set earlier and rise later and your vehicle’s lights are essential to avoiding a collision. Included in every service is a check over which includes looking at your vehicle’s lights (front, rear, brakes and indicators). Contact us through the Facebook page to organise a service and checkover

12.01.2022 As a small way of saying thank you to our frontline workers, Porky's Mechanical is offering a reduced hourly rate* to anyone working in the healthcare industry and police/fire/ambulance services. We would also like to extend this offer to supermarket employees. The rate is reduced to $80 per hour ** until the end of June 2020. *must provide proof of employment in these industries. **cost of parts not included

07.01.2022 No judgement here ladies (been there myself ) But it is worth noting that if your car stops running, you won’t have a vehicle to get to those appointments - Porky’s Admin (a.k.a the wife)

07.01.2022 Porky is on holidays from the 17th September until the 1st October. You will still be able to message the page during this time, but please be aware that we may not be able to reply to your message immediately. If you would like to have your vehicle worked on before this break, making contact as soon as possible gives us a better chance of finding a time slot that is suitable for you. Cheers, Porky’s admin
