24.01.2022 Day 1 of the SAAL Bay Sheffield carnival saw a large number of PAAC athletes competing. Little Athletics athletes featured early in the day and it’s a huge cong...ratulations to Archie Charles who won the 800m. The ‘pro’ running followed and PAAC had a win in the 120m restricted. An Open Day is a great way to try it out before you sign up. The first Open Day of the season is coming up on October 10. It’s not too late for any little athletics athletes turning 12 this year or older to sign up for ‘seniors’ or Athletics SA competition. Interclub starts next Saturday and we need athletes to be part of the team.

Like our more famous neighbours we are also on a premiership quest this season. To honour 150 years of tradition, with Interclub premiership success, would be fitting. 13.01.2022 A big congratulations to Archer Charles on winning the 800m Little Athletics Bay Sheffield event yesterday and Lachie Sands for finishing third in the 120m Little Athletics Bay Sheffield event yesterday. Congratulations to all our athletes who competed in the Little Athletics events yesterday and good luck to those competing today.

13.01.2022 Great news for PAAC athlete Phoenix Spicer who was drafted by North Melbourne Football Club. He is the second member of our club drafted in 3 years. AFL recruit...ers acknowledge elite speed and/or elite endurance are assets they value. Quality athletics coaching and competition during the footy off season is a way to enhance aspiring AFL or AFLW players chances of being drafted. Good luck Phoenix. See more

It's the first of 6 Open Days across the Summer Season - Open Days are non point scoring events and... are popular for participants who want to try athletics or do a few events without having a membership. Members are still required to wear club uniform and rego numbers. Athletes aged 12 through to 60+ can take part All track events and some field events are seeded so you compete against athletes of similar personal bests. Remember we would love all our Little Athletics members aged 12 or older to consider competing in both competitions this year. Help us win Interclub Premierships in u14, u16 and u18 age groups.
