23.01.2022 Tide times for Saturday Octber 8th - Championship Race 2 I hope you have the boats in the water already! High tide 6.55 am,(3.5m) Low tide 1.00pm.(0.9m) High tide 7.11 pm(3.8m) Wind Forecast : Saturday 1.00pm NNE at 2.6 knots- calm. Saturday 4pm SSE 8 knots, gentle. In other words, hardly any breeze, and variable. 40% chance of rain!

17.01.2022 A very successful Orica Three Island Race was held yesterday . the Road runners and 7 yachts took part. A few newcomers to the club were made welcome, and all went home tired - the runners, and merry - the sailors!

17.01.2022 Sorry , no new photos this week, as my camera is experiencing a shutter jam and is spending time with Canon Technical support! Hopefully i will have one in hand for this Sundays Three island race!

13.01.2022 Here's the shipping for Sat 15th. Probably only the Plover Arrow will concern us She's passing the Fairway Buoy, inbound, at 1300 to berth at Auckland Point sometime after 1400.

06.01.2022 Next Sunday is the Three Island Race where the sailing club combine with the Gladstone Road Runners and sail to Compigne and Quoin Islands for a run and sail race. There will be a briefing at the yacht club at 8 am, followed by the first yacht starting from o'Connell Wharf at 9am. Bar - b- que at club afterwards.
