13.01.2022 Gorlins is the pits! Tomorrow I am going dry for the month of July. I was inspired to do so by this commercial. ... My battle is real. And my battle won’t end. But there are so many like me, with the kind of cancer that no one talks about, fighting silent battles with some thing horrendously savage. If you would like to raise some awareness for Gorlins, then please put aside alcohol and go junk free for July. When people ask why, say... I am doing this for the sufferers of Gorlins! They’ll ask you what it is and you can say: it’s a genetic condition that causes the sufferers to fight ongoing battles with multiple BCC’s Basal Cell Carcinomas. On top of that, they develop cysts in their jaw the size of golf balls. Treatment is expensive but without it, they are fighting a losing battle. Feel free to tell them that your friend has been fighting this for 34 years. Don’t mention my name. That’s not required. What is required? Raising awareness! Let’s put the name out there. Gorlins! It’s the pits!!!! Are you with me? Giving up alcohol and junk for a month will be sooooo much easier than enduring the surgeries required to fight this condition? Are you with me?
