08.01.2022 Hi all, 2020 has been a challenging year and the Rugby landscape has definitely been impacted. However, to see all our regional and metro competitions get back up and running and the quality of Rugby around the state has been excellent and a credit to all our member clubs and school associations.... Get on board for the finals. We have another positive this weekend, with the Queensland Reds through to the qualifying finals of the Super Rugby AU competition. It will be the first time the Reds have been in the finals since 2013, and the first home final they have hosted since 2012. Wed like to invite all our clubs, both junior and senior, as well as our Rugby playing schools to get behind the Reds this weekend - Queenslanders supporting Queenslanders - and upload a good luck message to the team on your social media accounts, tagging @RedsRugby and using the hashtag #RedsFamily so we can see your post. Videos dont need to be long and can be filmed on a phone at training, and feel free to give a shout out to any player from your club/region or a player who visited your club/region during Reds to Regions last year. The team will greatly appreciate the support and will no doubt give them a boost ahead of the weekend. Help us recognise the many people who make a difference within the Rugby community.
