20.01.2022 Saturday is Prostate Cancer Ambrose Day. Get your teams of four together, or rock up and we can put you in a team. Cost is $25 per person. Make sure you wear as much blue as possible. There will be blue balls at the club to use for your round and there is no need to be a member.



20.01.2022 Opening Day sponsored by McDonalds has been scheduled to be played on 13 June. As in the past it will be a 4 ball ambrose with a 12 pm tee time shotgun start. Please be here 11.15 or earlier so the committee can sort out the draw, without to many in clubhouse at once. I will put a nomination sheet on the board. Please come an support your club and play I know its like a pub with no beer but we have been lucky to play golf. There is also scrounges on during the week. 15.01.2022 PILBARA FOURSOMES The entry form is on the board for the Pilbara Foursomes which is held on the 18th and 19th of April. It is time to get your partners organized and get your names on the board. Scrounges I will be combining Sunday scrounges into the midweek scrounges until we get better numbers for Sunday.... I only need about 10 people to run a competition and all the money goes back into vouchers and balls. It is only $5 to play and gives you something to aim for when only playing 9 holes. 12.01.2022 Great turn up for the 25th running of the Port Hedland Pro Am golf tournament proudly sponsored by Roy Hill. Conditions were a bit windy on the Saturday, but turned calm on Sunday. Payment will be via honesty box. Buggies will be kept in buggy shed please fill in sign out form.... Saturday There will be the final round of the Summer Cup this Saturday 2 for 2.30 hit of as normal. (back nine) Pre game will be outside on patio and the Committee is looking to see if we can run a drinks cart. There will not a BBQ afterwards and Presentations for the day may be postponed (tbc)

03.01.2022 Please be advised that the last round of the BGC Summer Cup will be on again this week, as close to normal as possible. 2PM names in for a 2:30PM tee off. Any hired buggies will be restricted to one person only, as per the social distancing requirements. The clubhouse remains closed, so we will gather on the veranda for pre and post game.

02.01.2022 Hi all, we know the clubhouse is closed, but this still doesnt mean you can bring your own alcohol. The department of racing, gaming and liquor have advised that there is still to be no alcohol to be brought into the course. If you are found to be bringing your own alcohol onto course you may be fined and/or have your membership revoked. Please be mindful the club is a licensed premises so we still need to abide by the law.
