25.01.2022 Unfortunately the Bunnings Store in Port Kennedy will be closing its doors for good on the 21st March 2021. Bunnings have made the difficult decision to close t...his store at the end of the current lease and a spokesperson told me that they are hoping to redeploy the hard working staff who work there to their other stores. The site itself is owned by the BWP trust who have a large property portfolio featuring many Bunnings sites. This particular site comprises of a Bunnings Warehouse with a total retail area of 11,675 square metres as well as two additional showrooms. The lease comprises the entire site with the showroom tenancies being sub-tenants to Bunnings Group Limited. The site has 255 car bays. The total annual rent (for the entire site) is $1.71m a year. For interest the Rockingham Bunnings current lease was started in 2015 on a 12-year lease with 4 x 6 year options at $2.1m a year. The Mandurah Bunnings store annual lease is around $1.38m a year. It will be interesting to see what goes into this space once Bunnings Depart. #bunningsportkennedy #bunnings

21.01.2022 At the Lions Remembrance Ceremony today run by the Bullcreek Lions club for both WA districts. Some pics of our own club members who were able to attend (2 left before I got the pic) in respect of our late member PDG Darrel Mainard. Quite a few of his family were there also. Biggest crowd to be seen in a while.

05.01.2022 Our Club will start selling the Lions Xmas cakes and puddings from this Wednesday 18 November at the WAIKIKI Shopping centre till Saturday 21st November. Following week at WARNBRO shopping centre from Wednesday 25th November till Saturday 28th November.

04.01.2022 In recognition of National Diabetes Week 2020 (July 12-July 18), Australian Lions Hearing Dogs is proud to announce our brand new Assistance Dog Program which i...s currently in development. Pictured is our new Medical Alert Dog uniform which will initially be used for dogs who are trained to alert to low blood sugar levels in asymptomatic Type 1 diabetics. Although the program is in it's very early stages we hope to be able to place our first Medical Alert Dog in the next two years. Keep an eye out on our social media for further updates
