Port Stephens Beach Break has only 4 days available over the Christmas school holidays from 24th to 28th December then we are fully booked. Our last weekend available from now until February next year is Friday 15th to Sunday 17th December. If your interested in booking either of these dates don't delay as they won't last long !! 17.01.2022 There has been another new addition to the farm at Port Stephens Beach Break. Mitzi the skewbald shetland arrived last weekend. She is a sweet natured 8 year old pony with a beautiful ginger and white mane. In her short time with us she has already befriended Darcy the donkey and Bambi and Tinkerbell the goats.

16.01.2022 **GUEST REVIEW** What a wonderful spot for a holiday. We have been on many family holidays and this one was one of the best ever. Janet and Dave are the perfect hosts - you instantly feel like part of their family. The house is beautiful, comfortable and immaculate and everything is thought of - from the amazing breakfast basket through to the DVDs, reading materials and board games. The property itself is bre...athtaking and both the pool and spa are the icing on the cake. My children loved the animals most of all - they are so so friendly and perfect for children. Location is brilliant as well - a brief walk from the beach or 1-2 minutes drive for those not keen on walking. Janet and Dave, thank you for such a lovely stay - and for the extras like the pony ride and the "tractor" ride. I can't say enough good things about this place and would highly recommend it. 15.01.2022 Recently a guest who has stayed with Port Stephens Beach Break for the 4th time called and asked host Janet to arrange a little surprise so that he could ask his girlfriend to marry him! The guest had planned to ask her as soon as they walked in the door as he said he was very nervous... luckily she said YES !! This has been the second marriage proposal At Port Stephens Beach Break. Congratulations to our wonderful guests!

14.01.2022 It is with great sadness to let you all know that we lost Darcy this morning to a paralysis tick. Darcy was very courageous and put up a huge fight until the end. He leaves a big empty hole in our lives and that of all his farmyard friends. For those that met him, loved him and his very mischievous ways. Darcy was with us for 6 short years and he bought so much joy to our family, neighbours & guests and was simply amazing with special needs people. You will be dearly missed ...Mr Darcy. We can’t thank enough the team at Newcastle Equine Centre - Cecilia, Morgan, Laura, Lorin, Marlon and others that names escape me for their 24/7 care, dedication and professionalism shown in treating him and making him as comfortable as possible during his treatment. A huge thank you to all those who sent their well wishes and messages of support during this difficult time.

13.01.2022 Our Exciting News .. We have 2 little Miniature Donkeys arriving here just in time for Christmas. Fudge (chocolate brown) & Milo (Grey Dun) were born in June 2020 at a donkey stud near Canberra. These little boys will spend the next several weeks with their mothers and by late December they will be old enough to leave their mums. After losing our much-loved donkey Darcy earlier this year we just couldn’t say no to these two little cuties.

12.01.2022 REVIEW:- Amazing Family Holiday We have just returned from spending our Christmas at Beach Break B&B and have to say we had the most amazing time. We stayed 7nights with four kids (8,6,2,0) and it was the best holiday we have ever had. Everything was thought of, making our holiday stress free and relaxing. Cot, high chair, pool toys and even a laminated collage of all the farm animals with alpaca wool to take back for news!! The kids loved the animals, especially their pony ...ride on Henry. Being Christmas Janet even arranged a beautiful Christmas tree, magic reindeer food & reindeer poop on the lawn for Christmas morning!! The pool was perfect and the spa was amazing!! He is still a little shy at present but we are hoping to gain his confidence to allow us to hand feed him like we do with his paddock friends... "Darcy" the miniature donkey and goats.

07.01.2022 Port Stephens Beach Break Bed and Breakfast had its first wedding proposal on the weekend. The guests were watching "The Bachelor" series on TV when they were filming the scene at Birubi Beach and she decided to google the Port Stephens area and discovered Beach Break. The couple travelled down from Queensland for the weekend and he proposed to her under the trees near the horse paddock. She wrote in the guest book that Beach Break was a beautiful home and will always hold a special place in her heart, I am the luckiest girl in the world . Congratulations to the happy couple on behalf of your hosts Janet and Dave!!!

04.01.2022 Our much loved and very cheeky Darcy the donkey is currently in intensive care at the vets fighting for his life after being found on Saturday morning unable to walk. Two tiny paralysis ticks were found on him. He was administered anti tick serum and after 12 hours his condition hasn’t changed so vets decided to shave him to see if they could find any more ticks. A further 1mm tick was then found behind his ear and removed.... Darcy’s condition hasn’t changed greatly in the last 3 days. He is still unable to stand and is currently being fed by tube through his nose to his stomach. Darcy is showing remarkable strength and stoic behaviour trying to battle the effect of the toxins. A big thank you to Newcastle Equine Centre for looking after Mr Darcy. He has all the ladies attention in there! Come on Darcy show us your never give up attitude and stubbornness to beat this and come out braying I won . We love you
