17.01.2022 Some images from our turnaround event held Sunday 18th 2020, it looks nice and flat in the little bay in front of the clubhouse but around the point it was brisk and choppy. great fun though.

12.01.2022 Even though the Around Sunday Island trailable yacht race had to be postponed due to a Gale, members of other yacht clubs joined with Port Albert members to take a guided walk through the Historic Alberton cemetery which features the graves of some of Gippsland's first settlers. Following the walk in this interesting resting place the sailors then headed to the Yarram Country Club for a social gettogether and dinner. The around Sunday Island race has been rescheduled for January 16th 2021.

06.01.2022 Fresh wind for the tackers program day two, lots of water fun and ideal for practicing the capsize drill.

05.01.2022 Ok All novices this is your day, it's also a skills practice day for those who are looking to improve. So this Sunday the 29th make your way down to the yacht club and have a go, the wind is looking to be a little brisk but the tide full so plenty of water to fall into. Come down for 9ish rig up and 10.30 start.

04.01.2022 Apologies to Libby NICOL winner of yesterday's twilight race in her Impulse "Bluey".She was also winner of the 4th Series race in the afternoon.Congratulations!

03.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the very strong easterly winds forecast for the entire weekend, we have had to postpone the Around Sunday Island Trailable Yacht Race. The race will now be held on Saturday 16th Jan. The cemetery tour and dinner are still on for anyone feeling social!

03.01.2022 Great turnout for the Port Albert yacht clubs "ice breaker" sail, 8 dinghies and the new rescue boat were given a good workout in 10 to 15 knots of wind, masks were worn and safety protocols were observed onshore, social distancing is largely automatic when on the water. A delightful sail was enjoyed by the happy sailors and the new crash boat performed perfectly, a really positive start to the season.

03.01.2022 We aren't quite done with the chuckles yet, but the weather is getting better and the restrictions have eased a little.
