25.01.2022 Finished the inlay on this maple fretboard today - some new pearl sheets arrived from Lumea (Ocean Shell) in NZ this week. Will fret it tomorrow with gold Evo fretwire, all prepared and ready to go.

21.01.2022 Test fit for pickups on this white Cabal today using Dimarzio pickups. A Super Distortion in the bridge and Steve Vai Gravity Storm in the neck.

17.01.2022 Cut a soundhole today (after making and gluing the soundhole patch) and then fitted the bridge plate and main transverse brace to the spruce top, all upon the 10m radius dish. Fun!

09.01.2022 A couple of Cabal necks in progress today

09.01.2022 A new sample arrived of New Zealand paua shell veneer so I knocked up some inlay and side dot markers today. The colour really pops with the contrasting black of the ebony fretboard

09.01.2022 The Cabal neck is reinforced with two carbon fiber rods installed either side of the two-way truss rod. This makes the neck very stable and it means the neck profile can be very thin. The fretboard is also machined with a compound radius of 12" at the nut and 16" at the 24th fret for silky lead work.

07.01.2022 Here's the latest CABAL in delicious Cherry Black finish. Mahogany body and neck, ebony fretboard with pearl inlay. Carbon fibre reinforced neck, hardtail bridge, master vol, master tone, 3-way selector switch, Dimarzio humbuckers. Compound radius fingerboard (12"-16"), 25.5" scale length, 24 nickel/silver frets with hemispherical ends.
