25.01.2022 I am going to get this right one day!! We can play golf for fun and exercise BUT we cant play in a Competition. So this simply means The club cannot run a Competition and I assume No handicaping will be done on any round you might play during these times. Don't know if taking a $ or two off your mate is classified as a comp thou. Cheers Richard

18.01.2022 Saturday 7 th Nov was the 1 st day of our Summer Comp which was the 1st round of the Harris Family Summer Cup. 48 players hit off on a perfect day for golf. 16.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS 2020 Mens Grade Champions and Runner ups. A Grade Mick Warren defeated Scott Benbow on the 18th with both playing excellent par golf until the last where Scott missed a 4 ft putt to bogey whilst Mick had par. Mick Warren with V Captain Todd Kernahan and action of both driving on the 9 th hole. B Grade Adam Wilson defeated Chris Baker 2 up. C Grade Richard Footner defeated Brian Kreig 4 and 3.

15.01.2022 Here we are the final day of our 2020 Golf Classic. A very popular 2 Person Ambrose. Saturday 8th August. Bingo ! we achieved the impossible, another terrible day for golf. That made 5 very ordinary days of weather.... However again, 124 very brave golfers took on the elements. Well done. In closing I would like to thank all the golfers that participated in this year's Golf Classic. During the different format this year ( only 5 days) 828 rounds of golf were played. A BIG "Special" thanks to all our visiting golfers. 181 of you representing 50 different club's. I hope you all had a good time and we would love to have you back again next year. Managing all the Covid regulations was difficult but we got there. Thank you to Tony Robinson (Northpoint) Michael Edwards ( Max Cranes) and Glenda Strawbridge (Life Member) for helping with various trophy presentations. 14.01.2022 Hi to all followers Saturday 31st Oct was the closing day of our winter comp kindly sponsored by Tony Benbow. We conducted a Pinehurst Comp with 2 groups of ladies , 13 mixed groups and 14 mens groups total of 58 players, followed by arvo tea. Results Ladies Winners Jill Dighton and Tracy Littlewood (new member) Mixed Winners Ros McRae and John Marsh from Cathy n Paul Mayhew. Mens winners Shane Brown and Adam Wilson from Tony Tree and Geoff Hurrell Visitors from Elliston

06.01.2022 Welcome to our 1 st taste of Summer golf with the Heat Policy in use on the very first day. Organise yourselves for an early start in our Traditional Melbourne Cup 4 stick day to be followed by BBQ lunch , Sweeps and a nice cold refreshment whilst watching the cup in the Clubhouse.

Record these dates in your diaries and organise your accommodation.... Tuesday 3rd August 2021 to Saturday 7th August 2021. Entry forms will be available on our web page from early May 2021. 02.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS 2020 HOLMSBY CUP WINNER Bert Edwards who defeated young Junior Damien Hodge 1 up. The Holmsby cup is a handicap match play format that has been a part of the club for many many years. Bert also won this title in 2000. Photos show Bert recieving the cup from Vice Captain Todd Kernahan then both off them teeing off on No. 15 and Damien in a spot of bother under a tree.
