The Markets this weekend... will be in a different Location. Still on the foreshore but it will move further down the foreshore towards the boat ramp. These are our existing ensuite cabins to which we've add...ed fencing around each verandah, a kennel and a little patch of artificial grass. This will be a COVID Safe Event, with your he...lp and understanding we can all work together to keep the community Safe. This Christmas Event will have: COVID Safe Check-In with the mySA Gov App (Attendance sheet will also be available for anyone without the App at the entrance point.) Single Entry/Exit point at McKay Street/Bay Street corner next to the hall. (James Street will be fenced off and unable to be accessed from that end of McKay Street) Hand Sanitiser Stations located around the Event area COVID Marshals walking around the area Wearing of Face Masks is recommended while at the event ( a limited number of masks will be available at the entrance point) 550 Maximum attendance at one time (as per SA Health Covid Safe Plan, Dec 1st 2020) Please Keep to 1.5m physical distancing Food and Drinks may be consumed while standing or seated, seating will be available If we can all work together to keep this event Safe and Enjoyable for all who wish to attend. 04.01.2022 HI All, Just wanting to let you all know that we have had to cancel the Port Broughton Easter Seaside Markets for 2020, with all the events in recent weeks, rep...orts of the coronavirus have escalated in Australia and we are always thinking about the safety and well being of each person in our community, including Stall holders Locals and Visitors. We have taken on board recommendations from the Australian Government on how best to ensure the highest standards of health and safety in our community in relation to the Coronavirus. With most events around Australia and the world being cancelled it is sad to see our small town miss out on the markets as it brings so much entertainment, enjoyment and vibrant atmosphere during the Easter Break. Are you wanting to be able to walk in and not have to line up t...o sign in to our COVID Contact Tracing Attendance Sheet (a requirement as stated in our SA Health COVID Safe Plan)?? We have come up with a idea that will save time in 3 Simple Steps!!! 1:- Head into the 3 local places listed below: Port Broughton Visitor Information Outlet Port Broughton Community Library Barunga West Council Office 2:- Sign the Contact Tracing Record Sheet for the Christmas Festival for EACH PERSON that will be attending and pick up a Christmas Festival Ticket for each name written down. 3:- Show your Ticket at the event entrance to show that you have signed the Attendance Sheet! There will still be an attendance sheet at the entrance for people who are unable to pick up a Ticket before the event.
