13.01.2022 An amazing find by Life Member Craig Grant. A premiership cap from one of our founding members - the great Bob Duck. Leagues Cricket Club were the HRDCA A Grade Premiers in the summer of 1971/72 and this baggy blue is still in great nick for an item that is nearly 50 years old! A real treasure for all Leagues boys to cherish.

07.01.2022 Our 2019/20 Port City Leagues Magpies Cricket Club Annual General Meeting was held during the week with the following people elected to Executive Committee positions: EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE President - Paul Byrne... Sr Vice Pres - Mick Hourigan Jr Vice Pres - Adam Broderick Secretary - Bernadette Hourigan Treasurer - Rohan Kew General Committee positions were also filled by the following people: GENERAL COMMITTEE Oxley Oval Facility Manager - Greg Hall Media Liaison Officer - Troy Highlands WWCC Compliance Officer - Brendan Badenoch Social Committee - Benny Lawrie & Josh Felton Training Coordinator - Adam Broderick plus Team Captains Sponsorships - Bernadette Hourigan Thank you to everyone who came along to the AGM. It was fantastic to see so many people turn up to have their say in how their club runs for the next 12 months. Congratulations and thanks to those people who will fill roles within committees during the upcoming season. We would also like to acknowledge the outstanding service outgoing Secretary Nik James has given our club for over a decade. His contribution has been immense and commitment to the ongoing prosperity of the club never in question. We sincerely wish him well in whatever he chooses to do off the field from now on and look forward to seeing him don our colours once again in 2019/20 as he sends down thunderbolts and belts the ball over the fence. Thanks so much, Niko. You've been an awesome servant for our wonderful club. Messages about pre-season training and registration days will start to roll through in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

01.01.2022 A great night for the club as Oxley Oval was lit up with awesome T20 cricket throughout the May Kelly Cup fixture played under lights on home turf for the first time.
