25.01.2022 20 May 2018. Happy birthday Girish!!! Girish is in Port Douglas for holidays. He went cycling on Four Mile Beach and then came to the markets and treated himself to a new Rigon hat.
25.01.2022 Sunday, 8th November 2020. We are really enjoying seeing people from all over Australia visiting our beautiful part of the world. Today was no exception - Daria is in Port Douglas to celebrate her husband's birthday. She looked absolutely stunning in one of our beautiful (foldable) raffia ladies' hats. We hope Daria enjoys her stay in Port, and maybe she'll come back for her birthday or wedding anniversary!!!
24.01.2022 13 May 2018. Folk from all over the world visit Port Douglas Markets every week, and this week was no exception. Steve and Jana Fite hail from Boerne, Texas, USA. Steve believes he will be one of the first people in Texas to own a true blue Aussie kangaroo leather hat !!!
24.01.2022 Doriana and Kris, a fun couple from Jesi (An), Italy are holidaying in Australia for five weeks. They visited our hat store at Port Douglas Markets, and chose kangaroo leather hats to protect them from the harsh Australian sun - they may now be mistaken for Ozzies!!!! Have a wonderful trip!

18.01.2022 13 May 2018. Ran and Danny Korine from Haifa, Israel, popped in to see us a couple of times. Ran is an animal trainer and rescuer back home in Haifa. He couldn't make up his mind whether to take a kangaroo leather hat, or a canvas hiking hat, so he did what you do in this situation, and that is, he took them both!!!
18.01.2022 3 June 2018. Another beautiful day in Port Douglas and today, from the other side of the world, we met Hugo from The Netherlands. Hugo chose a Squashy Kangaroo Leather hat - a great choice, especially considering the Northern Hemisphere winters!!
16.01.2022 3 June 2018. Lisa and Paul from Forster, NSW, are honeymooning in Far North Queensland, so Paul really got into the spirit of the Tropical North, and chose a "Croc Dundee" hat - from all of us at Port Douglas Hats, we wish you a happy life together!
15.01.2022 13 May 2018. It was a glorious day in Port Douglas today. Peter and Gail were on holiday from Dural, NSW. Peter chose a Cancer Council approved Rigon, and Gail, one of our classy ladies' fashion hats. They looked a million dollars!!!
14.01.2022 27 May 2018. Greg and Ginny were a long way from home. They hail from Auckland, New Zealand, but have been working in PNG and took a well earned break to Port Douglas for a bit of R&R. Greg chose a Foldaway Kangaroo ("Cooler") hat, and Ginny a ladies' fashion hat. They looked great and you'll have to forgive me for thinking that Annie Lennox had stepped onto our shores!!!
14.01.2022 20 May 2018. These two little beauties got the right Royal treatment at Port Douglas markets today. They were checking out all the sights, and no doubt receiving a few treats on the way!!
13.01.2022 27 May 2018. Brett Adelberg dropped in. Brett was up from Benalle in Victoria - his origins are German. Brett chose a canvas hiking hat to keep the rays off his head during his holiday in Far North Queensland. A great choice - with great protection from the sun, and a chin strap to keep his hat on if and when he goes out to the Reef!!
05.01.2022 3 June 2018. Anne and Michael visit Port Douglas every year - this year was no exception. They both opted for hats from our fashion range, and looked a stunning couple when they left us. Look forward to seeing you next year for your new look!!
05.01.2022 Sunday 3 November 2020. What a year it's been - for all of us!! We met some intrepid travellers this last Sunday. Firstly, Chloe who came all the way from Mossman to explore the markets and adventure - she chose an ivory Fedora - we tried to talk her into an Indiana Jones hat - perfect for adventuring but she looked stunning in the Fedora!! Our next traveller is Rona from Tully, who came to Port Douglas to see her brother. She is looking very elegant in our new ladies' f...ashion raffia hat. And finally, Costanza, all the way from Chile with her friends (I believe two of them were from Argentina). They all looked fabulous in our selection of canvas and leather hats.
04.01.2022 6 May 2018. We had the pleasure of a visit from Raj and his wife from Brisbane, who were on holidays in Far North Queensland. They were up early exploring the fabulous Markets when Raj spotted his new Foldaway Kangaroo leather hat. He suits hats well, and this one was no exception!!!
03.01.2022 26 May 2018. Port Douglas Hats spent the morning at Yungaburra Markets. Andrew Thompson, a local from Millaa Millaa, dropped in and took home a fabulous hiking hat. Apart from looking good in the hat, Andrew will be well pleased, as the hiking hat will last him a long, long time, and will definitely protect him from those UV rays!!!
03.01.2022 29 April 2018. Three of the cutest kids at the Port markets this last Sunday - Arabella and Barnaby from Mosman, Sydney, and little Theo from Denmark. They all looked very cute (and hip) in their new Trilbies.
