18.01.2022 T H A N K Y O U What a crazy world we’re currently in, but amidst it all, here in Port we’re all still pretty humble, optimistic that we can whether this ...cyclonic event and positive that as the sun still shines , we will survive. Team Salsa would really love to thank our very dear valued clients and long-term friends for their continued support. As the goal posts keep changing by the hour as it seems, to keep everyone safe, we are just so grateful from the bottom of our hearts for you all still continuing to support us. We honestly couldn’t do it without you YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY As of yesterday we are ensuring safe spacing between tables and only allowing a certain number of people in our venue, including our staff at any one time. We have hospital grade COVID-19 killing spray for all our public and common use surfaces including menus, bill folders, tables, chairs, desk, toilets, handles and more. Hand sanitiser is offered for all guests and our crew are constantly washing their hands and sanitising where possible. BUT the show must go on , we will try to keep things as good as normal if not better - same great food, same great service by the people you know and love On that note, the SUN IS STILL SHINING, it’s a gorgeous day here in Port Douglas and we think, that if you can, please continue to support your local businesses - be it at markets, buying from the butcher, still getting your hair done, having a beer at the pub, enjoying local coffee, or lunching & dining at your favourite restaurants. We may go in to lock down but until then, LET’S LIVE LIFE, STAY STRONG, SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER and KEEP OUR COMMUNITY RESILIENT

Council will investigate the possibility of holding aspects of the festival as part of its economic recovery to the C...OVID-19 pandemic at a future date. Council will continually monitor the latest health advice and review the circumstances before a public announcement about a future date. The decision was made in line with recommendations from the Federal Government on non-essential mass gatherings.
